Aside from the 3 fouls dmo has played fine tonight . How any rebounds did Randolph have when dmo was in ? I'm not gonna check the stats right now but he prolly has the highest or close to the highest plus/ minus for us right now .
God I hate plus minus so much. You know why D-Mo's is the best? Because he got pulled for fouls before Memphis went on that 21-3 run.
Unless he can develop a consistent post game, or can hit long range shots consistently, what good is he, honestly? He's clumsy, fouls a ton, isn't a great rebounder other than just being big and having the ball come to him... and is a terrible (terrible) finisher. He is what he is... which has some value.... the question is whether Morey can sell it (and they also need Jones back to consider moving him).
Can't remember the last time I've wanted a player traded as bad as I want DMo traded. He is eternally frustrating, and one of the softest dudes in the league.
I actually don't feel that strongly about him. He hasn't complained or turned into a headcase. He's just not very good at basketball, it happens. I'm more angry at McHale for playing him.
I've been saying this since last year, even tho they have other spots to fix, but the rockets will never be a CONTENDER with DMO at PF in a 8-9 man rotation in the west.
I can't even argue with you idiots . Now that people have the ability to watch the game there is no excuse for bad analysis other than lack of intelligence . Anyone who thinks dmo is the reason we are losing / will lose this game is beyond help. Has he played perfect ? No of course not. However, he is far from the biggest culprit. He has been at worst neutral tonight. When the team shoots this poorly from 3 you generally don't have a prayer of winning , especially when you take as many 3's as we took .
Funny you used a sample size of a minute to judge a player. I don't like dmo shooting 3's . However, if he gets one and it's open he should take it . Maybe he could drive it in and try to pass but that's not a great option either. As much as you can fault him for being at the 3 point line , obviously he wouldn't be doing it if he wasn't told to play like that . So you can direct that criticism at the coach.
as much as i despise the fact that mchale is still coaching this team, he is on record publically calling out dmo for taking too many 3's. in any case, dmo is not the only reason this team is playing like dog excrement the past week, but he is certainly one of the reasons. he absolutely should not be in any nba team's regular rotation.
i prefer you just think i'm wrong about it. on principle i'm not going to open a window to search for anything related to this pathetic scrub. maybe someone else here will help you out though.
