Lin's always humble mentality pisses me off and the only time he decides to play aggressive is when he's playing well. This is his problem he defers and defers and defers. You can't be aggressive if you are walking to the half court and handing off to a player and then spotting up in a corner and then watching Kobe jack up a three or something. Lin is on the worst team in the Western Conference. He won't make the playoffs. Kobe doesn't give a **** about anything except his own stats anymore. It's his ****ING CONTRACT YEAR. And he continues to sit there and "play for the team" aka play passive. Grow some balls. Yeah in NYK he averaged a **** ton of turnovers, but he was x1000 more "alpha" then he was now. Hell he even yelled at Amare after a bad defensive stint. Now he's going to stroke Kobe's shaft and mope around? Ugh. He needs to man up. Even at the expense of looking selfish. And plus he's on my fantasy team and he's killing my stats.
I have not entered this thread until yesterday. I was a little curious what posters were saying after last night's Lakers game. Well, nothing new here. The Lin fans continue to defend Lin somewhat blindly. The Lin haters continue to rile on him, also somewhat blindly. And those who are somewhat objective try in vain to interject some sense into it. Yep sounds like 100% speculation by Salvadore regarding a Lin to the Thunder trade. No mention of who the Thunder would give up to match the $8 million dollar salary cap figure, or why the Thunder would want to pay $14 million for what would be their 3rd string PG once Westbrook comes back in ~2 weeks.
