Melo just signed with NY, how would LA land him? your formula is basically what they tried this year, except they couldn't appeal to anyone besides Carlos Boozer. and yet each offseason the fans expect the same formula to happen for them. they will add a draft pick and free agents to their roster of 5 players and Kobe, they will not survive in the West.
Boozer don't choose LA-- the Lakers claimed him in amnesty waiver. He was planning on signing with Houston if he passed through waived. I wonder if Boozer would seek a buyout from LA to join the Rockets.
Hell NO! I would love Boozer to stay with the Lakers as long as possible. Rockets dodged one. Please dont bring this plague here.
