The bottom line for the Lakers this summer is that Kobe is making $24.5 M, is old and will either be chucking shots without playing defense or outright out with injury. The Lakers are just not an attractive situation for free agents. Even with their expiring contracts and a likely top pick, there has got to be more attractive options than playing with Kobe, Nick Young and rookies (Randle and whoever they choose). LA is an attractive market, but they struck out this summer already and there are many examples of big/attractive markets striking out in free agent pursuits.
Aside from shaq, those players haven't done #### without him. Gasol: 0-12 in playoffs Bynum: not in league lol Odom: not in league lol Howard: first round exit I don't like the guy but he's still a top 20 all time player

Only in Kobes mind does "Run the offense" = "watch me shoot 40 times" hahahahaha. this team is white hot trash
The Lakers are imploding. I'm watching the post game locker room interviews and both Boozer and Lin seem to take indirect shots at Kobe. Interesting...

Gasol made the playoffs without Kobe and won a lot of games. Bynum got injured, but he was a 20 and 10 player before both his knees blew out. Howard made the finals with Hedo as the second best player on the team. Kobe was 34-48, 45-37, 42-40, and 1-8 this season without the best front court in the NBA. He went 0-2 in the playoffs. His best season was worst that what the rockets did with Kevin Martin as our best player.

Hmm.... The Lakers are moving from the "regular bad team" situation to full on "we hate each other" dumpster fire anarchy. This is getting fun. How soon before they fore Byron Scott? And Kobe joining the fray: hahahahahah https://twitter.com/mike_bresnahan/status/534220675037159424
