I'd say the way we've been playing fits right into the MEM style--all D, no O LOL

    First team to 60 wins???

seriously though, where has our shooting gone?

Damn what happened to our offense in the last 2 games. Seems like Rockets left it in Mexico. Maybe the altitude change or maybe a lot of hot chikkas somewhat affected their legs.

I am still happy with the ugly wins through improved defense. I don't care if tomorrows game will be equality ugly against Memphis. Just go for the win Rockets!!

It's a bizzaro world where the Rockets offense sucks and their defense is incredible.

We need another playmaker. But at least we've shown that we have the defensive mindset.

I disagree that winning an ugly game like this one by a close score is bad. It's good, because it shows our guys that every stop they get is worth the effort. It's one thing to hear your coach preach defense. It's another to walk off the court, see 69 points on the board, and think, "Damn, that 24-second violation I forced was the difference in this game."

This is the most important thing. harden is shooting 39%fg and 30%3pt because there isn't anyone else to go to, and opponent defenses are zeroing in on him.

dwight can be taken out of the game offensively. he's a good 3rd option on offense, but definitely not a first or second option, otherwise you will lose on nights that he can't get anything going.

harden is a big time scorer because of all the free throws. he is a #1 option in the regular season, but in the playoffs there are less ticky-tack calls and he becomes less effective.

we need another go-to guy for the nights (like tonight) when dwight is shut down, and for nights in the post season when harden can't get to the line and is reduced to step back jumpers with a hand in his face.

don't get me wrong, we don't need a superstar, but just someone better at scoring and creating for other's than parsons was for us. lowry would've been great, milsapp too but he's probably a gonna get a huge extension.

i like our chances of trading for dragic, and maybe even ty lawson depending on how bad things get in denver.

Doesn't matter how much you win by it's just getting that big w that matters. In order for a team to be great you have to learn to win whatever the game puts in front of you. The last 2 games have been ugly and scrappy but they found a way to win and that's the most important thing. Finding a way when there seems no way.

On the one hand, I am glad we won despite struggling on offense. It shows the toughness we didn't have in the past two seasons.

On the other hand, I wouldn't be overjoyed playing "good defense" against an offense that is ranked 28th on offense, and scoring only 69 points against a defense that is ranked 15th.

Not to mention, in the previous game, we played "good defense" against the worst offense in the league, and scored 88 points against the 23rd ranked defense.

True it's great we won with defense, but it is troubling how ineffective our offense has been these last few games. I know Ariza has been ice cold, along with most of our 3 pt shooters, but we need to really find a good 3rd scoring option.

True but it isn't a great sign either. If OKC has Westbrook and Durant, doesn't seem like we'd have won this game.

We still need another scorer if you ask me.

I would say much more likely to get Lawson than Dragic at this point. If Phoenix is still in the playoff hunt, they won’t trade Dragic. Personally I have no preference in terms of PG other than their cost. Lawson, Dragic, Rondo, whoever. Just someone that can get the team to score points with the 2nd team.

I think we should take some time to appreciate T.R. Dunn and what he's done (haw haw) to our defense. I don't even see the difference in scheme honestly, but the stats speak for themselves.
