you'd probably want Lin taking more shots at the moments given the struggles that Kobe is facing. He seems a bit like the Knicks Tmac at the moments, superstar ego in an ailing body.
I'm not surprised sorting comments by controversial brings that message to the top which means just as many people downvoted it as there were people who upvoted it. The guy was a honest LOF and he was downvoted by his own kind.
This is my observation as well. For someone who's supposed to be pretty smart. He doesn't do a lot of easy things on the court right. Skills and athleticism is mostly there.
I didn't see the game, but he didn't seem so terrible from this highlights <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/xJy_Z3fkI8s" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Idk about some of you guys who seem to be more obsess with his crazy fans than anything else. Maybe the saying "bird of the same feathers flock together" is true about crazies as well xp.
I would love to see the intro highlights from tonight's game. With 3/4 of the game over, Lin has... 0 points on 0-2. One of the two shots being an airball and one assist. Scott had to yank him. Benched him couple of times. In the third quarter, his defense was absolutely putrid. He was getting raped. So, it begs the question, who has been holding Lin's game back?
Yeah, but what are the chances he's in the NBA after this season? Good for Lin if he wants to cash out, he made enough to warrant doing so. But its his contract year and if this is the best he's going to play he's not going to be in the NBA after this season.
Terrible game by Lin. But the whole Lakers team was putrid and they didn't exactly stop the bleeding with Lin on the bench. They got no rim protection and it is just way too easy to score on them.
Another LOH talking out of his ass. There's like 2 players in the NBA that can shut down Curry and Lin only played 22min and has 2 FGA. His defense was ok until tonight. And yeah he'll get another contract for sure lol don't you worry about that
Lin is putrid unless he has others take attention off him. Say what you want but the Rockets were ideal for him. He could play off Harden, Howard, Parsons, Bev etc in an up tempo system. Good job Morey - Bev is indeed the better player. No need in keeping Lin even if we dd not get Bosh. Not worth the chemistry issues and the hordes of cockroaches (Lin fans) that come with him while sacrificing Canaan's development
He won't play like this every night but he really has not done well overall, either. With PGs, though, sometimes guys just need the right situation to turn things around. Augustin and Collison are just two guys who went from being useless for one or more teams to contributors/starter on winning teams.
Find him a better situation. Where could he turn things around. No, FC Barcelona is not an option. Same for Benetton Treviso.
