Why have we stopped running pick and roll with Howard and Harden? It seems like we only use it when we absolutely have to. We should be running pick n rolls all day long a la Nash-Amare, Stockton-Malone

Yes. Would you propose we take it back?

    Ugly as.

But good to see we are grinding it out.
I bet last year we'd be down 55-42 at the half.

Sorry if this has been addressed already in this thread, but why the hell hasn't Canaan played at all? Is he injured? There's no excuse for the guy to see no minutes in the first half like that.

It's like that every time we play them. Their length and athleticism on the frontline minus Perkins always gives us great fits.

Zone defense. Stockton and Malone never faced a zone.

I didn't see people complaining about the offense when it was producing a ton of points. There are going to be off nights in the NBA, I think that has been established historically.

offense has not been flowing very well the last couple of games.... every team will go through stretches like this though... just put up every W you can.... they will def all mean something at the end of the season.

But the Rockets can't be overreliant on the 3. You saw what it nearly did to them the other night at home against Philly. They have to start incorporating more midrange jumpers into the offense. It would help of course if Harden could start making those again.

People seem to be overlooking the stellar defense. That's the lowest point total OKC has been held to after the first half this season. You're going to have shooting slumps and bad offensive nights--but as long as the defense is there every night we're in good shape.

The offense has been flowing well, except for the three point shooting. 11 blocks at the rim. 11.

Meh... Some frustrating moments but I'm not the least bit worried about this game.

This was in the back of my mind with the Brewer trade rumors swirling around. If he is not hurt, no logical explanation for Canaan not playing.

Mchale can't find any minutes for Canaan with how well he played with Bev out? Garcia wasn't needed especially since OKC don't have any Small Forwards.., Canaan should have been in there.
