They have three winnable games the next 3 weeks... in addition to the one they're currently winning. Season is long, and injuries can still change many team's outlooks. Need to keep playing to win till you're mathmatically eliminated.
So were the rest of us calling for Mallet. We just don't have the need to say I told u so over and over.
Part of the reason the O-Line looks better today may be because Mallet is calling proper coverages and blitz pickups. Fitz may be smart but this is a new offense to him while mallet has been studying it for years. Lets also not underestimate the fact that mallet had a full two weeks to mentally prepare himself. O'Brien did the right thing in benching fitz at the time that he did. If he had started Mallet against the eagles things may have gone differently.
Is the Browns defensive line any good? I keep thinking our O-Line is terrible but they're making them look like brick walls out there.
