Are we just gonna ignore the monster season that Anthony Davis is having?

He beats everybody on quickness. I haven't seen much of a back to the basket game from him, but he will face up in the post and explode by a defender for easy layups and dunks. That's basically his offensive game. He interviewed before the season last year and said that he'd learned to make a move quickly and use his quickness to beat defenders, and you can really see that's what he's done. He'll be even scarier once he develops a reliable post game.

I took him number 2 in my fantasy draft. Was happy when he was available, I would have taken him 1 if i had the pick.

What can you do if we are not ignoring? Dreaming to trade for him. Very annoying thread.

Or Asik might just be the best Center to pair a talent like Anthony Davis with, Asik takes the hard fouls off him and Davis is allowed to float and cherry pick the easy blocks.

Who's ignoring? He's widely recognized as one of the best around. Probably the best pure big man out there.

He'll surely be MVP if he keeps up this pace unless they're out of the playoff hunt.

This. Everyone has been raving about him, definitely being noticed.

I think to safe ESPN was correct that he's already a top 3 player. Once he gets a most consistent post up game (or better playmaking from his guards), I won't be surprised he'll rack up the MVPs like Lebron had been doing. What a beast.

    24.5ppg, 11.8rpg, 4.1bpg, 2.3spg, 2.1apg, 56% fg, 35.65 PER (his PER is 7 points higher than the next best Dirk of 27.9)

Obviously his numbers will taper down as the season progresses, but this guy is legit.

Him and Cousins are going to be the headlining big men for the next 10 years.

Dwight will put him under the hoop.

He is back to Orlando Dwight.

AD is on an entire different level from the current Dwight. AD is also on an entire different level than the peak Orlando Dwight.

Well, just like last year, he's got twice as many blocks at home vs away. Must be the Cajun food or sumpin.

    GOAT candidate.

In 2012, Hollinger's draft rater projected him well above Kevin Love.

His PER is at historical high over 9 games, and it's not even close(above best seasonal PER of Wilt, MJ...). It's still early on limited sample size, but he's younger than a lot of 2014 draft picks...

You didn't watch Dwight in Orlando. Because Dwight in Orlando took a team to the finals. Road his coattails all the way there. AD has done nothing in the league yet. Will he? I would put money on it. But, he still probably won't get the Pelicans in to the playoffs this year.

Dwight last night, was every bit as good as AD this year.

I was just making a joke.

Obviously heyp is insinuating they are giving him exrra blocks on the score sheet, but because he didn't say how they were fudging, i said it was the fouls (which you can't fudge! !)

Maybe i thought too hard about how to make a joke and failed badly :(

At his peak, Dwight was DPOY and could have damn well won the MVP
