NYC didn't really give up on him.

He has a very poor feel for the game. Kind of like Steve Francis or other "shoot first" point guards.

He also makes bonehead decisions like fellow alum Ryan Fitzy.

Lol my friend is a big Lin fan so I was clowning on him during the game when Leonard ripped him back to back, but Lin did make Parker look silly on one drive, that was nice, does anyone have that .gif?

A number of Lin fans are hoping that once his contract expires at the end of the season, Spurs will "steal" (yes, that's the word they are using) him for cheap and he will get a fair shake under coach Popovich.

This is hilarious on several levels.

    1) "Steal" lol. Yes, I am sure several teams will be lining up to receive the godly basketball services of Lin.

    2) "Steal" also implies that somehow Spurs should consider themselves lucky that Lin chose them.

    3) "Steal" again lol....because this means that they actually think that he is due for another big contract and thus he might sign for a discount

    3) Last, this is the real laugher. Hoping that Lin will finally get a "fair chance" with Pops. The same Pops who loses his mind if you make a boneheaded play? This is on the same level as them cheering that Lin does not have to share the ball with Harden while fully knowing the he will be sharing the ball with Kobe lol.

Its almost surreal how detached from reality these Lin fans are.

Scoring 15 pts against the defending champs and you nerds get bent out of shape for that? That goes for both LOH and LOF. Meanwhile the freaking Timberwhacks get butt raped into oblivion and nobody gets bent out of shape over that because they are irrelevant. What makes Lin relevant, please tell me, please?? Why do you give a crap about the worst team in the West and a sub par mediocre point guard? I really need to know. Does it go deeper than that? Are you butt hurt over your stressful life? I would think that being one of the worst team in the league would drive this thread into irrelevancy and no one would give a crap. Apparently, Clutchfans do really care.

Again, one of these posts that make absolutely no sense to me. People like to collect stamps. They like to watch and catalogue birds. Others fancy cats. Some people even like to watch youtube videos of men hitting women in subway cars.

If it doesn't affect you directly, how can *you* spend one iota of your short time on earth worrying about other people's fascinations that make no sense to you?

It's rhetorical, because I actually don't care about the answer. I'm just pointing out that Lin interest is the same as just about any other interest, especially celebrity interest. To each his or her own! Let 'em be and go to other threads.

the luxury of the spurs. no doubt they will win again, that's 6 rings. at that point, lin was driving past tony and creating so what does pop do? an adjustment quickly, putting his best defender and shutting down lin.

Unlike some of you, Pops didnt forget about that 30something points game Lin had against them when he was with us. No way he was going to allow Lin to get hot and make the game tougher than it should be, which is a beat down.

Actually Kwahi is known for his best defense and disruptive steals with his big quick hands.

Season TEAM AGE GP GS MIN PTS FGM FGA FG% 3PM 3PA 3P% FTM FTA FT% OREB DREB REB AST STL BLK TOV PF
    2014-15 LAL 26 9 9 31.4 13.0 3.9 8.8 44.3 1.1 2.9 38.5 4.1 4.4 92.5 0.4 2.4 2.9 4.8 0.8 0.2 2.8 2.9

so here's Lin's season average. Question for the LOH's, is this bad considering he's only taking 8.8 shots per game? 44.3% FG% and 38.5% 3pts is decent imo.

A lot of people hate on Lin for no reason despite him playing fine. this is kinda sad

he's okay lower tier starting pg or higher tier bench pg, he's always been mediocre, probably always be mediocre.

but that's definitely what a lot of his fans think of him
