Good luck with your plans to torp McHale. 9 games gone. "McFail" in your twisted terminology is yet flawless. Any explanation for that?
http://www.basketball-reference.com/coaches/mchalke01c.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Houston_Rockets_head_coaches You have to adjust both pages for the current 8-1 record. Wikipedia only goes through 2013-2014. Basketball-reference has us at 7-1. Wins: 141 Games: 239 141/239=.5899
LOL. You can really tell the level of basketball knowledge some of these haters. One poster claimed he could have coached the Rockets to victory against the warriors.
I don't like milk hair much, or at all and think he's pretty turrible, but we just won with everyone having a bad game. Lets keep this thread hidden for a bit and enjoy our close win.
You may be a moderately knowledgeable fan. But you choose to insult one of the 50 greatest players in NBA history and the Rockets coach with the best wining % of any coach in Rockets history. Just lovely.
How odd is that assertion????? He has the best winning % of any coach in Rockets history and that is not "proof of nothing relating to his ability to coach." Do you understand how ridiculous that is??? No, god almighty is not coming down to coach the Rockets. Get over it.
Actually I can make a very good countervailing argument. But I have the statistical data to back that up. You son have nothing but your fan opinion. And fan opinions are worth just about as much as what is flushed down your toilet. CometsWin.
I posted about this back on page 426. McHale passed Adelman when the Rockets were 6-0, then fell behind after the GS loss. McHale will finish the season ahead of Adelman if the Rockets win 51 or more games.
Yes, I remember that, WinkFan. It was you who alerted me to the situation. I had said he was second. Thank you for the additional fact about 51 wins. I guess there will be a lot of CF posters hoping we don't make it to 51 wins this season. . . .
LOL at the people using regular season results to claim McHale as a great coach. Any team with Harden and Howard will make the playoffs esp in the NBA where more than half the teams make it. Most knowledgeable posters know that McHale will be a sitting duck when it comes to the playoffs like we saw when Stotts cleaned his dock. The shortcomings in the regular season will be emphasized come playof time and these are just warning signs. McHale will look as clueless as ever when we get to the playoffs. Better hope Harden and Howard have MVP type performances come playoff time
Deja vu all over again. You will see plenty of this nonsense all season long. I wish I was short sighted with a short memory like these easily satisfied fans. Hey, that's just my opinion. You can think whatever the f+ck you wanna think.
And fyi, I predicted last year 55 wins and this year 60 wins but that's not what it's about. Playoffs.
