He hasn't been good, but half of his playing time has come with the 3rd stringers in garbage time when no one can make a basket. And also, he would not have gone 0-5 tonight with the wide open looks that Cisco got(or blow a breakaway layup by losing the ball out of bounds).

It's not even just that sadly. There are times motiejunas gets solid post position and the guards just look at him and then immediately decide to not pass it in. That's gotta be frustrating for dwight and dmo.

Going to a new country is stressful on your body: different germs and all.

More like Philly deserved to win. You can tell they really wanted this W after what happened to them last game. They played hard and they were relentless. They attacked all game and kept trying to draw fouls. The effort was there on defense.

But we don't deserve to lose. No way.

You don't know he wouldn't have gone 0-5. That's not as matter of fact as you're making it out to be. What's Daniels shooting percentage this year? 30%?

Like I said. Garcia actually plays defense and had a number of good defensive plays in the first half.

I'll buy the argument that we need bench depth on the wings though. Because papa is too inconsistent as a rookie right now.

This is why I think we deserved the W. We didn't get the calls and we still had more points at the end of the game.

We tried giving the ball to DMo on pnrs. Twice he missed. Then he had that open lane to a dunk on which the refs frustratingly called a foul on DH.

In the endgame when we needed 100% certainty, we went to our best offensive player.

Terry, Ariza and Papa must practise getting near the FT line area for some midrange shots.

the power of having two star players. only reason we won. instead of an god awful terrible 3pt shooting from the rockets, if they had just a bad 3pt shooting night it would've been over earlier. so many missed open shots

And all of those blocks were meaningful in a close game. We needed every one of them to win by 1.

Papa is gonna have bad nights. He's a rookie. It's a shame it happened on the same night every other bench guy stunk up the joint.

I'm not saying Daniels is having a good year. He's clearly not. But when your offense is so reliant on making 3-pointers and you can't buy a basket from outside, why not give a player who's biggest(and only) strength is shooting 3's at least a few minutes on the floor to see if he can get the offense going? Especially when the alternative is Cisco who hasn't had a good shooting night since 2013.

Sometimes I feel it takes someone who actually played in the post to truly understand how to get a post players easy shots. I really hate when they clown Dwight for not knowing how to get post position when in fact he is getting post position but by the time the guards find him he has been pushed out.

I think part of it is communication too. I wonder if Dwight tells them when he is actually open. I mean, more than him jumping around calling for the ball. He needs to break down tape and show them when, how, and where.

Everyone needs to rest the body. Hopefully the OKC goes smooth so we can rest starters for Mondays game.

This is the type of game last years squad would've lost. This type of game is what the team needs to get better. I am just glad the D side of court has been there this season.
