Hefty price tag, but damn. Looks great. http://www.theverge.com/2014/11/13/...tm_campaign=The Verge Newsletter - 11/13/2014
they had a bmw i8 party in Austin, I checked it out, free food and drinks and you get to check out the car... you can't drive it of course , but it's freaking nice. the only gripe is that it's hard to get in the car, and i'm not tall.
Substandard for that price range $100k gets you a Tesla $50k more gets you less of a car with much more maintenance Verdict: No thanks
Looks kinda messy. Like there's too much going on and the lines aren't very clean for a sports car. I'm partial to BMW's over Audi's but I think I'd rather have the R8.
Rather have this any day. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/MO0vdNNzwxk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
the 'electric BS' is what makes the Tesla Model D the fastest production sedan in the world.. instant, complete torque
fastest is it? Any euro performance sedan is electronically limited to 155mph. What does the Tesla do?
Not what I expected when BMW at least by name associates it with its 8 series. Not really up on the design either, but it's a hell of a step up from the i3. That video was a good watch to see the new technologies coming out and eventually trickling down.
