The positive feedback on Canaan is great, especially the defense. Defense and solid shooting alone makes him at least Lin's equal. Ariza is at least Parsons' equal overall. And Asik missed most of last season. This is the same team as last year, but with better chemistry due to Dwight already playing one season. Add the fact Harden is playing both ends we'll likely better our record. I just hope guys aren't burnt out come playoff time.
LOL Maloney did not have elite handles or burst to the rim and the ability to finish in traffic. Carroll Dawson would give canann a max contract by those standards
Might be too early to say this, but he will soon be an upgrade over Lin off the bench. Lin has had his share of good games, but often had major confidence issues and was wildly inconsistent. What I love about Canaan is he will continue shooting even if he's not having a good night (just check out some of his D-league box scores). Same goes for Troy Daniels, which is why I hope he will get more playing time.
You really know how to write an attention-grabbing thread title! I think you need to study at the Carl Herrera Academy for a bit.
Love what Canaan is doing right now. I'd like to keep him, but I think he's going to end up being a key cog in us acquiring an elite power forward.
The curse continues: Rafer lost his job to Brooks when Rafer got injured Brooks lost his job to Lowry when Brooks got injured Lowry lost his job to Dragic when Lowry got injured Lin lost his job to Beverly when Lin got injured Beverly loses to Canaan when Beverly got injured???
Excuse me, did I miss something? Did not Canaan let Curry go off for 34 points Saturday on 68% shooting? Just asking.
If you really want to nitpick Tony Parker vs. Jrue Holliday 28 points vs. Drew Bledsoe 19 points vs. Jeff Teague 17 points vs. Jameer Nelson 23 points vs. Isaiah Canaan 6 points
Just saying, he looks like a rookie out there earning rookie minutes making rookie mistakes. In the absence of Bev.
