You are trolling right? Just checking..... Because If you are not then you are out of your mind to even consider Parsons a star....... IF!!!! Parsons would have been humble about leaving to pursue a better future for himself in Dallas or anywhere this thread wouldn't be so long. IF!!! Parsons would have addressed the media with a respect for his prior team and a desire to be more elsewhere this thread wouldn't be so long. IF!!!! Parsons would have just STFU and not been the biggest Douche Bag in the world this thread would not be so long. Nobody hates Parsons for being good or bad. We hate Parsons for being an ahole..... With that said, he is not even a player than can actually be an ahole..... Kobe, Lebron heck even Wade can be aholes...... They have earned it, Parsons is just a regular ahole like everybody else who talks $hi and cant back that $hi up.... At least has not yet...

From the SBNation of the Mavs: just saying Parsons is not a good player. he sucks. Houston is smiling tonite by 4mavs on Nov 9, 2014 | 9:08 PM reply He sucks on defense and is slow as an old crippled woman Other than that, he is worth all that money by Aggie E on Nov 9, 2014 | 9:11 PM up reply This guy is 99% right, you forgot to say Houston has been smiling ever since Cuban offered him that max deal. More from the forums: Remember when everyone was slapping each others ass when we "stole" Parsons away from Houston looks like Daryl Morey outsmarted this hapless front office once again by quincyyyyyy on Nov 9, 2014 | 8:46 PM reply *sigh... Yeah... Yeah, I do... I do remember that... by primetime111 on Nov 9, 2014 | 8:48 PM up reply Still can't believe Cuban gave him the max, it had to be out of his hatred of the Rockets. More from Mavsmoneyball.com: Geez, chill parsons is not that bad of a signing. He wouldn’t have been my first choice but oh well. Some of you guys are so Whiney. by Dynomite on Nov 9, 2014 | 8:49 PM up reply I hope he turns it around but even at the time you could make the argument he was a bad signing. Now it is without question. by quincyyyyyy on Nov 9, 2014 | 8:50 PM up reply Far far worse signings around the league, due to injury, ineptness of a front office, etc The mavs still have a winning record, and its less than 10 games into the season. by Dynomite on Nov 9, 2014 | 8:54 PM up reply He doesn't have a Dwight/Harden to take pressure off him, so it will probably take him some time adjusting from being the #3 option to the #1. BGH aka The #King by Brooklyn go hard on Nov 9, 2014 | 8:50 PM up reply He is not a first option on this team. No matter how much he is getting paid by Dynomite on Nov 9, 2014 | 8:52 PM up reply He's a complementary player 3rd or 4th option, depending on how the season goes by beachdrifter on Nov 9, 2014 | 8:55 PM up reply Parsons is ok he’s just going through the worst stretch of his career in his first games with the Mavs. by beachdrifter on Nov 9, 2014 | 8:52 PM up reply I don't understand how calling a player our for playing like trash is being whiny. I like Parsons, I’m glad we have him. But that doesn’t mean I’m just going to ignore his flaws that have been shown these past few games. by primetime111 on Nov 9, 2014 | 8:52 PM up reply
Lol I actually wanted the Rockets to sign Jameer Nelson this offseason. He looks out of shape. He was a muscular dude in his prime. BGH aka The #King by Brooklyn go hard on Nov 9, 2014 | 8:47 PM up reply I'm seriously already getting fed up with this team. We look pathetic. Our defense looks worse than last year, and the rebounding may be too. by primetime111 on Nov 9, 2014 | 8:40 PM reply We can't get much better for the next few years with Parsons on the roster by quincyyyyyy on Nov 9, 2014 | 8:43 PM up reply
Theses first few games are just Chandler Parsons being Chandler Parsons. He will have some nights where he looks amazing and he will have other nights where he looks like he doesn't belong on the court. He doesn't have an elite skill set but when things are going well for him you can trick yourself into thinking he could be a star. I spent a lot of last year flip flopping back and forth on whether or not he could be the third guy but by the end of the season it was clear that he wasn't consistent enough to be that guy.
Oh lawd, it was "Chandler Parsons Night" as well! <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>It's Chandler Parsons Night at American Airlines Center. <a href="http://t.co/tbLjcegG1q">http://t.co/tbLjcegG1q</a></p>— Jason Lieser (@PBPjasonlieser) <a href="https://twitter.com/PBPjasonlieser/status/531576023880859649">November 9, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> Dude is obviously having trouble with the pressure. Eventually he'll bounce back, but until then i'll revel in his misery like y'all haha
The Chandler Parsons hatred in this thread cracks me up. I find it enjoyable to read this stuff mostly because of how Cuban messed up the Mavs for Dirk's final years.
Hahaha remember everyone who was mad at Morey for not signing Jameer (presumably because Morey wouldn't offer him a player option like the Mavs did)
Parsons bricking layups is not a new development. Just ask Portland. Look, he's not gonna shoot this poorly all season, but he will have more nights like these. The guy is a streaky shooter. He's not reliable from 3-point range(unlike Ariza who's showing that last season was no fluke), and he has yet to develop a go-to postup move or consistent 18-footer. Parsons did well with the Rockets because of a lot of transition scoring and halfcourt playmaking opportunities, but he may find fewer of those with the Mavs because Ellis will handle the ball so much more than Bev ever did. That leaves him as more of a spotup shooter in Dallas' system, and that does not play to his strengths.
