You're deflecting what I'm saying and arguing points that aren't relevant to the core of what this topic is about. This discussion is going nowhere. Clearly you don't think 24 threads about one topic in 4 months is a lot. Others do. Not all of them are liberal Islamists. As far was the original point of what I responded to. The fact is still that most of the Islam threads created on the last two pages (and in general) are by you (or downbytheriver lately). You saying that most are not created by you is perhaps not wholly false (although I believe it is), but disingenuous in that you have largely contributed to the clutter. When it comes down to it, I guess it doesn't really matter. I'm not sure that less Islam threads would help the D&D spark more debate about other interesting topics (which is what I actually wish for) anyway. So I guess the status quo isn't really taking away from the D&D experience.

just because you've been on this site a long time, does not give you the right to police it to your liking. politics is just that - politics. i didn't care one bit about the midterms because i know how it's going to play out.a lifetime of false promises, slander, cheap entertainment etc. from both sides. valerie plume and zimmerman were interesting but i can't see it making sense that they deserve more than one thread. most of the updates are recycled and it doesn't affect that many people. the corruption of islam affects A LOT of people. as trendy as it is to be an atheist nowadays, faith -- not necessarily religion -- are things the majority of the world is passionate about. it is very interesting how different regions and circumstances twist and contort this faith to suit their needs rather than the purity it was intended with. yes, other religions had their problems over history but this is 2014. 2014. and only 1 has completely devolved into a killing machine. it's high time we stop losing our good men trying to right the wrongs there, forget about oil and leave the so called """moderates""" completely in charge of controlling the radicals. all the current events cannot be put in one thread because it is hard to go through, hard to reference and too condensed. the only reason it bothers you is because each thread gets a good amount of debate-- even posters like me who stuck to the rockets and nba forum have ventured on in here. it's INFORMATIVE and APPEALING to the educated. need to get out of your shell to see that.
