Looks good on the boards he's at least been in position most of the time, if he can consistently hit 3's he'll have solidified a place in the league.

Was going to post in here, but I didn't want to be the first. Didn't want to be the "jinxer". Still one half left. Keep up the good work big fella.

He played his best game of the year by far but I honestly thought he was still pretty bad. The dude is a 7 footer who plays like he's 6 feet. Couldn't come up with any rebounds or box out and committed terrible fouls.

He did give it his all though which is good.

We'll have a decent backup forward if he keeps his confidence up.

Good job DMo, keep at it.

We'll need you in the playoffs.

Great game tonight from Dmo. Wish he would've gotten some touches in the post near the end instead of the team shooting all those 3s.

    STFU, 16 and 8

He played spectacular defense tonight. He had no help at all down low. In fact the game turned when he had to go to the bench midway through the 4th. A few D-Mo post touches would have been a hell of a lot more effective than jacking up contested 3's

D-Mo has played like crap this year, but he was great tonight.

I think we are all so used to his terrible performances we jump for joy when he has an average to decent game. His weaknesses were still on full display tonight, he just hit a couple threes for once.

Dmo was one of the reasons the Rox made it a game. Consistency is so elusive with him though. He is getting more playing time this year than he has in years past so I'm hoping his consistency and confidence goes up because of it.

What you described was a bit ridiculous though considering dmo was the only guy taller than 6'8 tonight. He did a good job.

That's true, when you consider all the injuries he did a fine job tonight.

I've just been really frustrated with his lack of progression the past few years.

In a game like tonight it is particularly irritating. D-Mo in the post may not be a great option, but it is certainly better than contested 3's.

Still don't know why he was still running around the perimenter when he's the only Rockets taller than 6'7.

He does not want a lot of touches in the Post, he wants to shoot three pointers.

It was clear from the get go

Amazing. I guess some of you are trying out for an analyst position with espn.

Everytime Dmo got position downlow someone would jack-up a three during the most crucial time in the 4th. Everytime! Dmo doesn't have the nerve nor is in the position to demand the ball yet. He hustles around the top of the key setting picks and being active trying to keep playing time and to stay in the rotation. When he got position down-low, no one even looked at him, and GS put the clamps on. I haven't seen us jack up so many contested shots in a while.

Imo, Dmo has finally developed an inside game, and is getting confidence in his 3 point shot. We have our backup center; and we don't have to change our inside/out playing style when D12 has to rest. But the rest of the team needs to know it, and believe it. IMO

Lmao. That's not true at all. It's up to the coaches on how they use him. And McHale doesn't give DMo touches in the post on purpose (one of the reason being that we have Dwight there most of the time). DMo said himself his idol is Luis Scola and there's a reason he has such a refined post-game - he worked on it for years so that he could use it, instead of jacking threes.

There was a time when both Dmo and JValanciunas were considered Top 5 of a draft.

Dmo's low motor at that time and "soft" game in the post, inconsistent rebounding 4 years ago were on display at that time.

He dropped to No.20 in the first round while Valanciunas was a Top 5 draft pick.

So draft experts figured it out a long ago. Dmo had time to improve and he could still become an NBA player but the chances are getting worse and worse.

Won't hold my breath and pin all the blame on McHale.
The writing was on the wall long ago.
