It's not that we lost, it's how we lost. Chucking 42 three's is ridiculous and a proof that there is no offensive strategy/movement/no plays.

stop it.. no one said the Rockets were going 82-0 and no one said that the effort wasn't anything less than herculean, but this game could have been stolen and I'm sure you know it.

McHale should get credit for the fact that this game was this competitive.

If anything I give most of the credit to shear will from the players.

Now if we saw DMO in the post more, A play to get Ariza or Harden going, a play to get a 3 point shooter a shot, I would agree with you.

The only thing that Mchale did was change the starting lineup. Everything was the same except Dwight wasn't in there. Mchale didn't even try to simulate a low post threat with the one player that has low post moves..

Losses like this are on McHale. It was obvious this team was just jacking up contested 3's in the 4th. Just like the Portland series, he was incapable of making adjustments when something obviously isn't working.

PNR, post up D-Mo, you have to do something different.

Whole lot of hot takes being said tonight after a game we had no business even being in. We were missing 3 starters, including our best player.

I wanted to steal it from the Dubs, but this isn't a big deal, and I was fine with tonight outside of the constant bricks from 3.

Pathetic 3 rd quarter. McHale sat there while watching the Rockets brick contested 3 after contested 3. Absolutely ridiculous. These kinds of games highlights his shortcomings and ineptness as coach.

Man it blows my mind when people say, "Welp, we were missing players!" Do you guys think that the Rockets will be healthy all season? Are Rockets just supposed to forfeit games when the Rockets aren't 100%? Players will have injuries you still have to find a way to win games, because nobody cares if you're hurt...

Effort will only get you so far... Effort put the Rockets in a position to win, the coaching has to get the Rockets over the hump..

So I guess Pops is also a terrible coach since he too just sat there as we ran circles around the spurs, although they were missing 2 starters...

Nope. I don't think they should do this, but I think when you're down 3 starters including one of the best players in the league, expectations should be altered, especially when playing against one of the better teams in the league right now.

Not saying McHale was flawless or anything tonight, but it's absolutely silly to expect a whole lot given tonight's situation. I'm happy with the team for hanging with the Warriors despite being woefully outmanned, and I think everybody else should be as well. I think it bodes well for the future.

yall need to chill on Mchale...this team was DOA down 3 starters, and Dwight just let them know before game time. I really dont think he is a good coach, but this is a make or miss league. And the Rockets werent making anything from the outside..hence why the paint was impossible in the 2nd half of the game. If Harden is shooting 1-11 from 3 you are gonna lose.

Everyone gets a break from this loss. 4 th games in 6 nights is tough...

The Spurs were still running an offense, they just had limited talent. We had likewise limited talent, but we resorted to just jacking up contested shots. You have to try something else when what you are doing isn't working.

The team has played great, but McHale's inability in institute adjustments remains a major problem.

The lose is not on McHale. Having 3 starters out against a team like the Warriors (a top team this tear) it normally means you lose. The worrying part is how the Rockets look like a playground gang with no coach.

Frankly, don't know there in the US, but in Europe most of people facepalms while watching the Rockets game. If our superstar does not create an advantage, the end of our possesion is a catastrophe.

Waiting for the pertinent video at bballbreakdown.

I'm not one of McHale biggest fans but people can't seriously blame McHale for this loss tonight. This team outside of Dmo had no inside presence, therefore they had to chuck a bunch of 3s and eventually died by the 3s. It was a lot to ask having no Howard and Jones.

the reason im blaming him is when your see your star crawling and not producing you as a coach have to step in and say enough is enough.

I supoosed McHale should have come up with a new gameplan, 15 minutes before the game when he heard dwight was out.
