Is this a joke post or serious? We're down three starters against a team that's played like the best team in the league, fyi.
This game showed why we have no leader on that bench, we've seen guys just jack up threes, contested and all and no adjustments.
If anything, this game should prove that the bench depth was much better than expected. Down three starters and we took a very good team deep into the fourth. With just T. Jones this game would have looked different.
Daniels is overrated that got overhyped by Clutchfans because of a nice shot in the playoffs. So far he hasn't shown anything!

I have to say...not suprised this thread got bumped up... Thought Mchale did what he was able to...considering how flat those jumpers were, and how his team was playing... 6-1...nice start to the season...need to get some bodies healthy...and rest up till wednesday. Playing in Mexico city next game...
this is when coaching is important. Losers make excuses like that. Rockets were up 8 playing a certain way then Mchale completely abandons the game plan that got the lead. My main gripes: Mchale didn't play the bench in the 2nd half. Mchale went deep in the bench in the 1st half, Harden didn't even play a majority of the 2nd qtr. Rockets slowed the game to a crawl and relied on defense in the 1st half. In the 2nd half they started chucking for no reason. DMO was having a solid game he should have been fed in the post to slow the game down. Rockets made the game into a shootout with GSW which makes no sense.. Rockets were chucking 3s with 8 minutes to go down 3.
The 2nd or 3rd best player on your D League team isn't going to be guy who makes you go 82-0 in the NBA.
lol No you can't promise anything. Daniels is a rookie and hasn't done anything since the season started when he did get some play time. Mchale has his full starting line up and we coast to a win.
I'm aware that most of the people on CF think the Rockets would go 82-0 if only they were the coach, but come on. It's impressive that the game was as close as it was, all things considered.
Or maybe you are. No matter your amount of talent available, as a coach you have the responsability of making your team look like a profesional team. 42 3s, terrible shooting selection, ridiculous offense. Playground basketball. What I saw it's a shame for any basketball coach. It is impossible to get the respect of any playoff team playing like this. It is impossible to win nothing with that offensive structure. Laughable.
