Dmo is better in the sense that he doesn't make many bad or stupid plays anymore, but he's totally unproductive. He's just kind of there soaking up minutes without doing anything. That's fine while everyone else is playing great, but it will cost us eventually.
Hey dude. I will, in your words, "bash" Terrence until he actually becomes a difference maker here. At this point.....and for the last 2 seasons...he hasn't been a difference maker. And I'm not showing favoritism to DMo. At this point..he doesn't appear to be a difference maker either. Frankly, I'm ready for the next generation of PFs. I really don't think either of these guys is going to make it here.
Last night I was watching Dallas get spanked by Portland and I couldn't believe my eyes...i saw Thomas Robinson have a positive impact on the court! No plays were run for him and I don't think he scored too much, but the dude was everywhere on the court. My point is, if someone can salvage the trash heap that is TRob, there is absolutely a place for DMo on a champioship team. Who knows, maybe he finally figures it out
m Must say i really have to wounder about the hate on this thread, both guys are young and that is the problem. I see D-mo so different than most posters here except for the foul trouble he has played really well, thought i must be losing my mind as most here see something else.lucky for my sanity i read the the cron piece how the coaches agree with what i saw.
Thing is, he doesn't suck THAT bad. Sure, he's in a scoring slump and still get a lot of quick fouls, but he has some really good defensive efforts once in a while and moves the ball well on offense, has really good court vision and a relatively good basketball IQ (relative to TJ that is). It's really surprising how this fanbase can project to many hate on one of their own players when we're still undefeated. I can only imagine how pathetic this sub-forum will look like once the losses come.
D Mo is a huge difference maker. His inability to rebound, get good positioning, and shoot from the outside makes a huge difference for the other team.
I'm not a D. Mo hater, I've been commenting about what I've been seeing. I want him to do well, but I'm losing confidence in his ability to be a solid night in and night out contributor with each passing game. We will need either he or Pap to have a good game tonight in order to beat the Warriors. I care about the Houston Rockets as a whole more than any individual player on the team. Tonight can be a new beginning for D. Mo. With TJ out for at least another week, he doesn't have any reason to look over his shoulder. All the minutes that he has ever wanted or felt that he deserves are available to him if he seizes the opportunity and steps up to take them. He needs to go out there and prove he belongs now. It's put up or shut up time for him. He has 2 starts under his belt already. He was horrible in the first one, barely competent in the 2nd one, so I'll be optimistic that this will be his breakout game right here and something he can build upon going into next weeks games. No more excuses for him.
The Memphis game on national tv was the one game that I thought DMo was going to turn it around, but outside of that, he's been a huge negative and a detriment to this team. I hope we can trade him quickly.
btw, local betting site gives DMo a 6 point total (-125 for under and -111 for over), I could accept your bets guys if you want to
lol This says it all but which game is the one that finally determines whether he needs to go to Dleague or he stays? The last 2 starts he has shown he is garbage. He does not deserve to start and should be benched.
I would rather have had Adrien playing at this point. The problem is two-fold IMO. First, Motiejunas seems to have regressed. He still has ball security and balance issues. The only thing he is doing well this year is passing. The other problem is just how we use the guy.
It's a 2 way problem. Person he is setting the screen for should at least wait until he's established a pick and is not noticeably moving before making their move.
Looks like Dmo is the new punching bag in our team? 6-0 so the coach bashing will have to wait till we get our first loss. Ariza was more than just patch but rather an upgrade so Murray is safe for a while.
Much much better performance by DMO. His best performance of the season so far. Shooting well, running the floor, making his FT's, trying his best against Bogut. Impressive. Hope his confidence is back.
