somebody answer this (wo)man's question. i have an empty rb spot and only sankey or sims can fill it. I'm rolling with Sankey for now.
I'm starting Simms over Ball and Hyde, but would like to hear some opinions. I'm expecting a loss this week since I have Luck on bye as well as 2 of my 3 WRs (even though they all suck). Nice 17 points last night from Cleveland though!
I'm thinking of starting Ball with Hillman, so I at least know I will get (hopefully) all of the Denver carries, and won't be victim to any more vultures. Sims is obviously a gamble, and I'd prefer to not start him this week but he may be a better bet. Sankey has just been really mediocre so far, and while it's pretty certain that he will lead the Titans in carries he is also playing Baltimore... tough call. I'd probably go Simms over Ball/Hyde, especially if you are projecting a loss, only reason I would go Ball is because I'm playing the worst team in the league and am considering playing it safe.
Man...talk about slim pickins. But to answer your question, I think you almost have to take Sankey, based on the simple fact that Ball is only considered change of pace, and he may not even play. And you literally have the EXACT same situation with Sims. Based on the sole fact alone, that Sankey is going to play, you have to choose him. (Regardless of how difficult the matchup looks on paper..he's at least going to play)
Floyd is over due for a good game, but Sherman will likely cover beckham which means more targets for Randle. I think I would go Floyd.
i should be able to be the first one to clinch this week if all goes well. my opponents has several people on bye - he played Hill thursday night but forgot to play Tate (whew). he still hasnt picked up a kicker yet (he has Bullock on his bye week) and hasnt slotted Sankey in for Bradshaw. I am guessing he may do that before tomorrow morning - not sure if he is trying to get someone off of waivers first before the morning. Dude who had Vinatieri dropped him - I put a claim on him hoping I get him tomorrow morning if I do I am going to be ready for the playoffs Rodgers Cobb/Marshall/Gordon/Evans Charles/Foster/Mathews/Gore/Sproles Julius Thomas Vinatieri Stream D - currently Arizona keeping my fingers cross - its my worked league so whoever wins it has massive bragging rights for the year so its pretty competitive
Anyone think Peterson is actually going to play this year? It's getting to the point where I'm stashing too many guys.
I was going to start S. Watkins, but he is hurt, and it could be out for the game, or be very limited due to his injury, so I have to pick between: Doug Baldwin vs Giants Rueben Randle @ Seattle ? Thanks!
its a 12 team league - here is how i got it I picked #2 in the draft and my draft when in this order: charles foster thomas cobb edeleman kaepernick sankey E. Sanders the guy who drafted Josh Gordon dropped him in week 1 -- I picked him up off of free agency along with Larry Donnell after week 1. Before week 2 started when the Peterson news broke I picked up Asiata. After the Broncos bye week (thankfully Donnell huge game) I sold high on Donnell and trade him and Edelman for Marshall. The guy who had Marshall literally had no tight end with all the early injuries. Guy who had Mike Evans dropped him after his injury so I picked him up. The guy in last place dropped Mathews after he went out - at this point I was doing well enough to be able to hold onto him so I picked him up. I used my waiver wire in week 6 to get andre williams of NYG Traded Kaepernick, Sanders, Asiata and Williams for Rodgers, Gore and Bowe. before the start of week 7. The guy who had Rodgers really needed depth (he drafted Peterson) so he had Rodgers on the block Sproles was dropped because of his injury so I picked him at the tail end of last week. So basically I drafted well (Sanders in the 8th was a steal) and maximized the free agency pool big time and had timely waivers to make trades The one move I regret was I drafted Justin Tucker as my kicker and dropped him in week 3 to get Carpenter - I have been streaming kickers since - I was hoping Prater would come back to Denver but wasnt the case. Hoping my claim for Vinietari goes through for the stretch run. I am going to go with the Arizona Kicker for this weekend.
I'm also in a 12 team league. I thought mine was incredibly stacked. QB: Philip Rivers, Matt Ryan, Andy Dalton (2 QB league) RB: Arian Foster, Alfred Morris, Andre Ellington, Ronnie Hillman, Montee Ball, Ryan Mathews WR: Megatron, Jordy Nelson, TY Hilton, Anquan Boldin, Martavis Bryant TE: Julius Thomas With Lions D and Tucker as my kicker. I too have made quite a few trades. Over 5 for sure.
