    Lol, you have a point there. I think that is indicative of the media in denial of Rockets relevance and status as a contender. Sooner or later it will sink in to those people. Even thou the schedule was a little easy, but look at how the Rockets have destroyed them.

    But honestly it shouldn't matter to us Rockets fans as we are lucky and privileged to have a competitive and fun team to watch now. I'm super excited what more DM can add to the current team to push rockets to another gear towards dominance.

    Anyone else notice that the announcers in our last game kept saying how 3 Spur starters were out, but never mentioned our 2 starters out?

    Maybe because Tim, Tiago n Manu are more important to their team than Jones n Beverley are to us. I'm pretty sure if Dwight or Harden were out, they would say "without Dwight/Harden".

    Jones and Beverley are starters though... I know Tim and Manu are star players but all these guys are starters. To me if it was about importance to ratings they would have just mentioned Duncan and Ginobli are out.

    To be fair, it wasn't just Duncan and Ginobili that were out. They were also missing Splitter, Patty Mills, and Belinelli.

    Yeah but we did lose 3 major starters this offseason so technically we are shorthanded because 5 starters did not play against the Spurs........ That's like a whole team........

    I know this is random but it's eating me inside because I can't remember where I saw someone say our division was the best division in all of sports... I love the team but I'd have to disagree. You got Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Mississippi State, and Ole Miss in one division in the SEC.. Gets no better than that.
