http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2259113-houston-rockets-proving-theres-method-to-daryl-moreys-madness Excellent article by a good columnist explaining why Morey's offseason was genius maneuvering that few had the forethought to understand. I know we are not gonna get any love from the national media. This season is suppose to be about LeBron's homecoming and many pundits are running around like chickens with their heads cut off unsure what to do or what to say, but it sure does feel good when we are in the spotlight for once. So enjoy!
Oooo... didn't write this just a few months ago...? http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2183307-jason-terry-wont-replace-jeremy-lin-for-houston-rockets
Guys, please don't post full articles in the thread. Post highlights, but just leave the link. You're stealing views from the writer.
Why should they be punished for posting an article you don't like? Just don't click them. Besides, this is a quality article and the author should be rewarded. Would you steal from a grocery store if they did something you didn't like?
You know what was genius, was flipping this team from a high-passed offensive team to a grind it defensive team.
Haven't they been taken over by SI, added numerous serious analysts and turned it all around? Just asking.
That's right. Astonishing turnaround on defense for the whole team this offseason. Last night, even though our bench struggled to score in the fourth quarter, it still played hard defense and kept the Spurs from sinking baskets, going on runs, or hacking away large chunks of the lead. Total team defense is going to be an enormous asset this season if they can keep it up.
These writers understand the business they chose. There will ALWAYS be someone to steal and share content. Welcome to the internet.
That's an incredibly narrow-minded way to look at it. It costs you literally nothing to click the link. Writers have come on here before asking that we not do this. Is it that hard of a request?
Well done, you've derailed the thread...have an issue? Make a thread & take it to the D&D, But this thread is about GM Morey & his incredible job of building the Rockets roster.
Last I checked, this is Clutchfans. A site built by Rockets fans for Rockets fans....not some sportswriter. Perhaps those upset writers should focus on writing better content. If they do that, then I'll check their forum. Until then, they can suck it.
