This is my main question. How is his defense? Can he hit spot up threes? If he struggles with either of those things at all then I wouldn't want him on this Rockets team.

That said I'm sure he would excel as a starting PG on a team where he fit the system.

Could going after KD be just like going after Bosh? That extra $28 M just looks so enticing. I cannot even begin to speculate what is going through KD's head on contracts. No one can.

Reggie is a bad 3pt shooter and is turnover prone (A/TO better than Lin but worse than Bev). I would be ecstatic if one of our competitors signed him for anything over $7 million/year.

they may trade him, seems like he's bad for chemistry & doesn't want to be there. No reason to keep a guy like that around, that you can get something for... with that said, still not sure if he's the guy we need on this team.

Durant would have another max contract to follow.

More like Dwight's situation than Bosh.
at 30, Bosh needed to go all in.
Durant will be 27. 4 years to 31, then the 5 year max to retirement.

To answer both of your questions: Not good and no. RJ is the 100% inverse of a 3-and-D PG.

If by competitor you mean another team in the NBA besides the Rockets, you will be very ecstatic next summer.

He was completely outcoached in the 2012 Finals.

    [rQUOTEr]...

For Jackson, 24, the transformation from sixth man to an impact starter is validating everything that NBA executives and coaches suspected: He could be a star. Jackson turned down a lucrative, rookie contract extension in October, and he’s determined to be a starter in the NBA.

He’s generating a market value that’ll test the Thunder’s resolve in restricted free agency this summer. Every night, executives examine Jackson, and his offer sheet possibilities are climbing into the $13 million to $14 million range. As one Eastern Conference executive told Yahoo Sports: “He’s a bigger Eric Bledsoe – and probably better.”

A bigger and better Bledsoe? Isn't Bledsoe supposed to be a great defender and Jackson a terrible one?

I agree. Two different players. Jackson will get paid and this will be another test on how much winning actually matters to OKC's front office.

Works for us... but why would we let KD, Westbrook, and Howard on the same team?... that would be a nightmare.
