Hayward has a subpar 3P% every two seasons, dating back to his Butler days. It's been well documented and no one knows why it's happening. Aliens, probably.

Hayward is probably a little better, but Houston doesn't get D12 without Chandler Parsons.

I refuse to overlook this. Hayward could very well spend his career as a Kirilenko type wandering around from team to team looking for a chance to play for a championship level squad, but he may never get the opportunity to do so.

    Parsons made his own luck.

    Parsons.

I feel Parsons will just keep getting better each year.

I feel he will career out, 21.0 PPG, 11.0 REB, 6 ASSIST throughout his years.

Wow a player drafted 9th is performing similarly to a player drafted 38th?

Unless there is some sort of trade happening out there that would get us Hayward for Parsons, It doesn't matter who is better. Also Parsons is shooting the ball at a higher percentage than Hayward. Parsons is older by 2 years, so there is also that to factor in.

Also how can you say no to this?

Parsons is so much more efficient and a better defender. Hayward used to have the 'playmaker' thing to hang his hat on but Parsons is now a good pick and roll handler as well. Parsons, no contest.

Both are really good young players. I'm glad we have one of them.

Haywood's strength is his defense and shooting. Parsons seems to be the more versatile player . Both are good options

Problem is, a season is 82 games. One or two games does not make a season. Hayward is shooting 40%/31%. That isn't a strength.

Hayward will make the team that pays him a boatload of money look VERY foolish. It would help if he had the same court awareness and did other things as well as Chandler.

Hard to say, but if you are giving Hayward the Max and Parsons 10mil a year. I will definitely take Parsons.

Op you left off the efficiency. I don't know if it was on purpose but it's usually listed.

    Hayward FG% .415, 3FG% .317, True shooting % .517
    Parsons FG% .517, 3FG% .375, True shooting % .606
