Ariza has certainly impressed the hell out of me...

I saw Panda say "Ariza knows his role"... I think that's very helpful. Ariza is a veteran that can help guide Harden and Harden is more likely to listen to him considering Ariza played with his favorite player (Kobe). I never thought about that when the Rockets signed Ariza. That may be even more valuable than his play on the court which has been great.

Ariza hasn't always known his role. Flashback to 10'-11' when he was the dbag on the team, part of what left a bad taste in my mouth when he signed.

Yeah I thought it was pretty silly to mention height when, without even checking stats, you can tell Ariza has a longer wingspan. Ariza certainly plays bigger than Parsons defensively.

Ariza is better at shooting 3's because he shoots hundreds of them a day in practice

    a) it has been far more than 5 days.
    b) thread was made in the pre-season
    c) Ariza was better than Parsons last year, and certainly fits better in Houston.

Ariza knew his role with Kobe. I wasn't thrilled about Jet Terry but he has a ring also and both have played and won with super star players knowing their role. Howard is a veteran but he doesn't bring the veteran leadership that those two have.

I'm not debating who is the better player... Just saying Ariza is the better fit for the team not just on the court but chemistry as well. Parsons was very disrespectful towards Harden and i bet Harden was glad to see him go. Plus if Ariza's shots aren't falling he can still play defense.

ariza wanted to play with harden and d12

he could have resigned with wiz for about the same money

he's consistent and a vet, plays well within the system, good on fast break

he wants to win, and does a lot of utility stuff like steals

    and he plays defense

if this is a microcosm of who he is gonna be day in day out then

    ariza > parsons

Someone explain to me why he got the max. It is not his defense, and he cant create his own shot. What is it?

That's the only way Dallas could pry him away from us, by over paying him so we would not match.

I disagree that he was "garbage," he just wasn't capable of being "the man."

My dad passed away you d******d.

Why am I so important to your life? Are you so pathetically small that you need this kind of entertainment? Get a life. Stop being ATW's little b****. I'm here to talk about the team I love in peace. Can you respect that?
