    Jalen Rose dished out a lot of praise for Trevor Ariza while Avery Johnson spoke highly of Kostas Papanikolaou (though he called him "Papalickanow").

    Later in the show, Avery said he likes James Harden for League MVP.

    Someday we can get into the top 10 plays of the night. If the lakers that night say goodbye to that idea for sure. I saw 2 layups by kobe in the hightlights.

    The Lakers would be a better, but still bad, team if they could somehow reign that loose canon in. Like that will ever happen. $50M flushed. Must be nice to have the revenue stream of the Lakers.

    27, 7, and 7 are MVP numbers. Harden gets a lot of assists from Trevor making 3's. If Ariza continues to hit shots, Hard should walk away with it this season with Durant missing time and Lebron not asserting himself yet.

    Reality of the situation is still this: If either Harden or Howard are out of the game, depth is badly lacking. But on the flip side, the realize is that by December I almost certainly doubt we will field the same rotation. That backup center position needs to be filled sorely.

    I love all the Rockets love right now. I will enjoy it while it lasts. If the Rockets falter the wolves are waiting just outside the door.

    What's really impressive to me is the fact that we have got a win streak at all. Last year we had the biggest flukes against teams we were better than, and should have beat. Not only have we improved but we're closing out and winning easily. Hopefully this is not fools gold.
