in case someone gets injured, no need to have someone listed as inactive for no reason

You have to understand, it's always like this with game threads. Always. They had a 13-point lead that they let get down to 2. So, this is when most of the panic set in. B/c you don't know, right? What happens if Miami all of a sudden gets hot on 3s and we miss a few? Whole momentum changes. But this is why it's best not to comment on every single run or downslide.

Yes we've played some bad teams, but have had all our starters 2/5 games, been on the road 4/5 games, played two back-to-backs, no team has scored 100 on us, every win has been double digits, and we're 5-0. Hard not to get excited!!

We should not take for granted how well Harden is playing. He's absolutely beasting and is an excellent offensive mind. I trust him out there.

It comes down to defense and this team appears to be committed to the concept.

That and Ariza hitting three like he's clubbing baby seals...

Quality win against an okay team. Real test start Thursday. Ariza is the type of player this team needed. The team's defense has me feeling better about this team.

I love how the teams are afraid of A3riza. That man is balling out of his mind. Offensively and defensively. I thought Wade will go off after the 1st qtr but Ariza played some tight defense on Wade for the rest of the game.

Just need a big body PF to go against Aldridge and Blake and we won't be afraid of any matchup problems.

Beat the Spurs and we would make a statement.

Harden "Spur-Killer" mode needs to be on, along with Jones!

We just beat what I was told by the big media one of the best teams in the NBA. In fact we crushed them in a convincing manner. Wheres's the love?

    Parsons who?

    Love Papa!

    Harden MVP!

How about Patrick Beverley hitting 4-5 from 3 nursing a strain.

Great point and true, especially 2nd night of back-to-back. I'm really impressed by this win against a solid opponent. Defense is just a tad better and that will cover a lot of other warts. Feels pretty flipping good right now.

The Rockets are the 2nd team in NBA history to start a season with 5 straight wins by more than 10 points (1985-1986 Nuggets, 6 straight)

It's okay dude, I was off too: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?p=9310811#post9310811

How is a team that won 2 NBA championships minus Lebron, plus Deng not a real test? We don't really know who the best in the NBA is yet, but we know they were undefeated and have 2 great players. I just wouldn't call them "okay" is all. Maybe we are thinking the same thing and you want to play THE best. Thursday is our chance.
