I guess having another Euro on the team that can show DMo how to get things done is of great benefit for the team.

New rule: If they are fronting Dwight, get the **** away from the basket.

Caanan with 13 and 6. Solid game for his second career nba start.

I can't remember playing a team that got so many hands on balls. Sure the Rockets were careless with the ball but it seemed like Philly was really trying disrupt and tip our passes.

It's also been good for me because I love nothing more in basketball than an easy shot created by ball movement. I miss Vlade and Sabonis.

Best part of this season so far is Caanan proving he can be a solid backup PG. We all knew that the starters were going to be good but the bench proving they aren't terrible has been a welcome relief.

Canaan really came through in the 4th quarter with that 3 pt shooting. Excited to see him grow more.

Was at the game tonight, just got home, and man was it frustrating to watch Dwight struggle on O. Mainly as was pointed out, he was being fronted a lot and doubled hard, in fact there were several times he was literally sandwiched between two players as the entry pass (which tonight most of them were pretty poorly executed by practically everyone who tried to feed him) was made. Dwight seemed fine from a physical standpoint, but his head at times seemed like he wasn't in the game and his ball handling and passing was at times terribly sloppy. Ariza and harden were amazing (esp Athreeza), TJ was active, but couldn't seem to get any shots to drop and was kind of erratic on D, Canan struggled early on but really hit some big shots in the 4th. Dmo baffles and frustrates me more than any other player on this team. He rebounded great, was solid passing the ball, but man is he soft on O. He absolutely just doesn't attack the basket which just pissed me off every time he was in. Jet hit some big shots and Paps seemed kind of like he had an off night over all. It was very frustrating to watch them get up by 13 twice on the Sixers and lose the lead due to sloppy t/o laden play in the 2nd, and then later in the 3rd qtr when they got stagnant on D for a stretch. Yes, the Sixers are a young athletic team that honestly will be a solid team in the near future, but they had no business hanging around into the 4th when the Rox (Ariza, Harden and esp Canan) finally put them away. Had a great time tho' and was glad we got the win, but skeptical about how we are going to perform against the better teams in the West and East. Next 3 games will be the real litmus test.

The fronting prob was due to the PF position. Tjones isnt moving fast enough to the high key. It needs to be before the entry pass is even attempted in the post.

We've done what we should do against these bad teams... But we've looked dang good doing it!

I'm so excited for the rest of this season! Need to improve in some areas, could upgrade some things personnel wise... But we're right there IMO!

not too shabby though I think Harden handled the ball when they were on the court together. Canaan was more of a SG; he just shot 3s and had a couple nice steals. He did get 6 assists though as you mentioned, but I think he excelled in the catch and shoot mode.

Wow, I just watched a replay of the game & I'll say it again…

Our opponents get away with so many fouls on Dwight it would be laughable if not so deflating. If you can't grab, push or hold on the perimeter then show the same respect for the bigs under the basket.

Worst lobs in the game…seriously. We're getting better, but man if I was Dwight I'd be mad as a cut snake.
It can't be that hard to lob an accurate alley oop to Dwight can it?

Entry passing is a joke…call Kenny Smith to show you how it's done. He made a career out of hitting open 3's from Dream's kick outs after actually being able to FEED HIM THE BALL IN THE POST!!!

Dwight works his butt off getting position, sealing off his man and getting to his spot, but the guys on the perimeter stand there like stunned mullets trying to figure out how to get the ball to him…then when they finally feed him the ball on the 4th attempt, some wombat strolls into the lane getting in Dwight's way.

I know it's early in the season, but I'm hoping that this gets sorted out quickly. It's one thing beating the 76ers & Celtics with sloppy post work, but when it comes to the more experienced teams it will hurt us.

That being said, our defence is looking very good for long stretches…I like.

Thanks. That wombat that strolled into the lane was Noel BTW.
    Liked the Aussie intonation.

There are not many guys who could do the entry pass. Ask Yao Ming.

We expect some slippage as teams give us different looks on defense. Coaches were probably also practising the guys' passing into the post with different kinds of defensive pressure.

Impressed with Harden, Ariza and our hard work on defense at times. Not impressed with our sloppiness, entry passes, lackadasical play when up by more than 10, D-Mo still not knowing how to play and lastly Howard. Sure he worked hard to get in position, but his body language and constant mouthing off at team mates, giving them looks and silly childish fouls are getting old. Just the play the game Dwight!

76ers are young, quick and long. They battled hard.

Dwight needs to vary his game esp if the post game isn't working. Like catch the ball at the side or go high post. With all the TOs, he's slowing down the team. He doesn't have high BB IQ.

The offense flows more smoothly with our guard-centered offense, kinda like we played when Asik and Harden were first here.
