It's the first real test. We need to watch out Wade who doesn't need to defer to LeBron. Still, with Howard manning inside, we should be able to take care of business.

Made some crucial 3s to keep the Rockets ahead while 6ers were trying to make a run.

Anyone else concerned harden is playing too many minutes against weak competition early in the season?

No he's sat like 2 fourth quarters, he should be fine. At least for now

His average is fine. What the Rockets need to do is sit him out some games. I wouldn't mind seeing some wholesale "injuries" to starters at the end of 4-in-5 nights. Keep him out of maybe 5 games throughout the season but keep the minutes.

Harden sat two fourth quarters already.

Boston is not that bad ...... 8-9th seed in the Lower East
    Utah probably 10th-11th

Not necessarily the worst - Lakers are surprising there

    Good game

A little pissed at how incapable our team is of getting Howard the ball, that's a HUGE problem that will need to be fixed.

    Not at all, he's young

All the greats have done it, even Tim Duncan

I think he was around 33mpg before this game, so no, that is not bad at all.

There needs to be a whole practice dedicated to post entry passes. It is pathetic how bad we are at them.

...I guess he only plays 38 minutes in games that end at 104-93.

I'm not panic button worried, but 35 minutes a game against teams we are mostly blowing out seems excessive to me.

Reminds me of the early Yao era. Talk about painful...

Is it just me or is Papanikolaou's passing rubbing off on Montiejunas? DMo hit some passes right on the mark tonight and every one of them was slick.

From what I saw Dwight was being fronted by Noel and the Sixers had another player waiting once the pass got to Dwight. The Sixers were getting away with a lot of physical play on Dwight. Which meant for hard entry passes. I am sure the team will get better as the season rolls along in getting the entry passes in with better results.

Agreed and it's all structural. No one seems to understand who is supposed to go where when Dwight's play is called. We clearly practiced defense all offseason knowing that our players would put up points regardless of practice.
