He's had virtually no practice with starting unit because Nash was expected to start, and Byron Scott for unknown reasons did not mix the units at all in practice. He's only played 5 or 6 games (preseason and reg season) with Kobe and others. Boozer is clogging up the paint, and most of time ineffective on offense. Ed Davis, who Lin has developed chemistry with, is still coming off the bench. Wesley Johnson is kind of a disaster. Boozer and Hill are slow. They have few players who can space the floor. Plus Tues - Rockets Wed - Suns Fri -Clips Sat - Warriors You know how Lin fares in B2Bs. =I'm not saying he's going to be amazing. Just, this will be a different kind of chance for him -- and, I think you all know this, week 1 is not enough to reach conclusions about how he is going to do.
I don't disagree that if he had it in him, chances are we would have seen it by now. But I will say, 4 years of college basketball at Harvard, is not doing a lot for your argument.
