I don't hang in the GARM as much as I used to, but why does there not seem to be as much concern for the bench? I don't exactly have a lot of confidence in it. The most dependable bench player is...Jason Terry?
Welcome back, my friends, to the show that never ends, come inside, come inside. It's my third year doing power rankings, and I couldn't be more excited to make fun of the Lakers. This guy is alright.
Terry, Kostas and Canaan have all looked fine. I have confidence that even though Daniels isn't in the rotation he is the type of guy who you can throw in at any time in any situation and feel confident he will be all net on his first shot. My only concern always has been and still is the backup big. Lins bench production is easily replaced, but Asiks will be pretty tough.
Struggled with the Los Angeles Lakers. Struggled with the Oklahoma City Thunder after Westbrook went down. Lost to the Kings. Their resume right now looks like that kid who's only worked for his or her dad's law firm... Like this guy =P
No way we should be ranked #1 though...we have the best center and shooting guard in the league, but lacking depth in multiple positions. Not yet worthy of being #1
CF has been talking about the bench since Asik/Lin got shipped out, but Morey won't use his remaining assets to shore up the bench, because he's saving them for a bigger fish, which is the correct thing to do, but it also severely hamstrings the team unless a significant move is made before the deadline. It's classic Morey in a nutshell. He won't hurt the team long term for short term gain.
