YES and a big hand to the people who said Ariza will shoot 30% because it was a contract year.

 

parsons was a better fit for this team, abandon this thread imo. People who **** on him after one game look like the jealous GFs, and people that are high on him for his contract worth can't support their claims when he has a bad game.

Someone needs to take the genius GoRoX's spot. His quality posting got him banned.

 

I'll reserve judgment till the end of the year. But for now I have been very content with Ariza and his D on this team.

 

The fact that list exists is childish. The fact that GoRox is on it is embarrassing. And the fact that he actually believes that list is anything more than "posters who hold the same views as me" is just sad.

I freely admit to having reservations about signing Ariza and expecting him to be our salvation at the 3, post-Parsons. It was based on his time here, and not having seen him play much in the interim, but in this very early season, he's been a revelation. I'll give him until the break to completely win me over, but so far, he looks like an improvement over that Dallas primadonna.

 

It doesn't work like that... Not when you get a contract like he did. Everything he does will be under a microscope. Look what people do about James Harden on a nightly basis (and deservedly so, since he appears to improve from it). Chandler Starsons can't have his cake and eat it too.

Unlikely that Ariza continues to shoot 55% (from the field or downtown) - but not unreasonable to think he would be 40% from 3.
