Whoever wanted Sammy Watkins is looking good right now. Oh yea but Fitz can't pass farther than 15 yards. ..

    Disagree...

McNair practically announced the Texans were drafting Clowney when he came out in the media talking about how J.J. said he would be Clowney's babysitter. He also talked about how the Texans had better luck drafting defensive players with the #1 pick.

it's all speculation, but i dont think BOB would take the job unless he had serious input as to who would be taken 1.1

although ncnair meddling in draft decisions does not surprise me.

I don't think O'Brien had that type of pull. And when the boss has so much butt love for Clowney and running his mouth about him in the media when O'brien's ink on his contract hasn't even dried yet... I don't think Ricky nor Bobby had a choice. It was obvious they were trying to trade the pick though, but probably wanted an RG3 type deal.

Clowney can shut up all of his critics. He needs to work hard and finish the season strong.

True...but sometimes in life, you have no choice but to push forward. I didn't have a choice bc my patients needed to be seen and wanted to be seen even after they were notified of the situation. I would have loved to go home and sleep.

Come on River ... The picks have overall just been bad under Smith. The cap handling has been atrocious as well.

Kubiak is gone and unfortunately we cannot fire the owner.

    Don't see this happening.

Some guys are just gamers..will do anything to play. Teddy hasn't exactly set the world on fire (no QB this draft has) but at least you can't question his passion for the game. Clowney's latest has been concerning to say the least.

This franchise is just really pathetic.

The owner has a history of hiring guys he personally likes regardless of their football acumen. The hires are.... Casserly, Capers, Kubiak and Smith... All "yes" men.

The coaches lack any clear vision or creativity.

The players shoot themselves in the foot. They choke in crucial moments with poor play on third down. The receivers drop or fumble first downs. Their quarterback is terrible at knowing when to hold on to the ball and when to throw it away. Their #1 pick is a joke, hell the whole 2014 draft class is a joke.

What makes it worse? Their meat head coach isn't even handling it well, getting more and more defensive and angry with the media. He lies after loses... But McNair and his little suite mate buddy Smith have a good time... and that is all that really matters.

The players aside, for the most part, this franchise doesn't deserve our fandom or our money. It is a cess pool and it will not change until we demand that it does.
