this guy shut dwight down one game last year. it would probably improve dwights game to have him to go against in practice.

I agree... I said this several times before during the offseason (between O'Neal and Okafor) They are both better than any backup C we currently have IMO, and would also provide solid veteran presence on the team.

A healthy Okafor would be huge if we could sign him, but the last rumor was that he was still dealing with neck issues.

Jermaine O'neal would be great too.

Outside of that is there anyone who is worthwhile and easily attainable?

not at center that I can think of, but if you are talking about all players, I would think Will Bynum has some value on the market as a bench/role player...

Someone needs to post that video of that O'Neal block on Parsons late in one of the games from last year.

O'Neal would be great. Dwight attracts fouls like crazy sometimes. Plus we should be limiting his minutes to keep him fresh for the playoffs.

Oneal would be good. Either way he's a large body that clogs up the paint

Yes, he is one of the guys I wanted when free agency started. Right now he is loving being a full time dad. Hopefully by January he will be missing it.

Any word on Andrew Bynum? Is he finally healthy? Does he still have the will to play basketball?

Oh please no haha anything is better than the lockerroom cancer that is Andrew Bynum...Jermaine O'neal would be a great pickup as long as he maintains his health while in H-Town

What happened to that dude? He was a competent backup in Memphis and just kinda faded away.

    He's actually a not-terrible midrange shooter:

Wonder what would happen if you just had him step out to the 3 point line, like 2Pat.
