It'll take a while. Im sure kobe considers someone that once dropped 38 on him somewhat special

SO the guy goes 0-6. has 5 TO and lets Curry go off on him for 30+ and yet we have some idiot fan saying that it's because he played in GS.

Get a grip. Lin is what he is. An inconsistent bottom tier starting PG

The guy is just a bad overrated player. I don't know why people have a hard time seeing that. There are just no more excuses for the guy. He is out of them. 15 or so million dollars should get you someone who doesn't make rookie mistakes. I am just waiting for Kobe to put the guy in his place, which is the end of the bench for garbage minutes. There once was a Lin fan that constantly talked about his elite passing, speed, court vision and so forth. He also constantly blamed Mchale for Lin's short comings. Well he is on a different team now and the results are worse. The day he fot traded from Houston I bought a bar a round of shots to celebrate. His play as a Laker justifies everything and the bashing. Lin is useless. Maybe the Nets or Knicks will take him again. But his performance is just horrendous.

don't worry, lin will have his once in a blue moon good games and lin fans will come out from under the refrigerator like roaches to proclaim that "linsanity" is back.

at least he's proving to all us rockets fan that criticized him when he was here that he really is not a good nba player.

    Did anyone else catch this?
Here is Steph Curry looking at Kobe ready to double team on him. Lin tries to make Curry defend him instead by going so far out in the perimeter that not even the camera could pick up on him, yet Curry still stayed closer to Kobe than Lin. That tells you how much the Warriors respect Lin's game, which is not much at all.

It was amusing to see the remaining Lin defenders on here toss up their pom-poms after a 17 point performance. So much for the Nash and Parker comparisons, lol. More like Mateen Cleaves (and that may be generous on my end)

    Lollllllllll

Two good weeks of play while unscouted in New York with a high as hell usage rate does not define is body of work.

    Lin sucks.

Matt maloney or Lin? Who you got. At this point I'll go with Maloney because less TO and deadly behind the arc. Why did I bring up Maloney?

Maloney is a much better player then Lin. I would also prefer Bryce Drew, Brent Price, Emmanuel Davis and a healthy Randy Livingston to Lin

This thread is becoming an eye soar in the GARM. Can we filter the view to only bee seen in dish and not show up in "moved" status where there should be Rockets chat?

so what, he's still getting to the freethrow line a lot which makes his TS to be at 59 percent.

SO glad the Fakers are paying him. Jeremy gets the last laugh, he gets paid this year millions of dollars to do nothing. What a scam.

Which is where Scott will end up with him, nothing. As in DNP coaches' decision.

Me and my buddy watched the game and every time he got the ball and we said he's going to jump into the air, slip or get into the pain with no plan and he just did it every single time. We were thinking the reason might be the short coming down to his shin and making him lose balance haha :) seriously though, he was terrible and we felt bad because he seemed to lose confidence as the game progressed and made mistake after mistake. Kobe wanting the ball on every possession and shooting so much made it even better, this LA show is just golden.

I think the Lin fans all along never admired him for basketball, they live out their dreams through him and find everything he does entertaining. Lin knows this, so he makes goofy youtube videos and tweets lots of crap on twitter.

It's like the Insane Clown Posse, I doubt people like them for their rap skills.

Accurate assessment as evidenced by how they would always respond to posts with "He makes more money then you ever will" and "he's famous". Imagine how sad an existence one would have to lead to live vicariously through a NBA player (and a terrible one at that)? Lin knows he's catering to socially awkward and delusional fan base so he dumbs it down to make them feel "part of the experience" when in reality he probably would run for the hills if ever put in a room full of these people. Smart on his end.

    That one may stick

This thread is funny. Lin has a good game, it's dead quiet. Lin has a bad game, all the trolls come out.

    Some people are too obsessed.

What Lin needs to work on is his handles and timing. Also his reaction is not as great as I thought it was (based on my preconception that Asians all have lightning quick badminton reflexes). Things he needs to add to his game are floaters- the normal kind and the quick release ones- and a reliable 3.

With that said, Lin needs to work on his composure, and treat every possession methodically. I'm hoping that he will improve. The Lakers are not going anywhere this season, but if the Lin/Kobe duo clicks (saw flashes in the LAL-LAF game), they can be entertaining on the offensive end.
