That last possession by the Lakers is why I'm thrilled that Lin is no longer here.

I might get heat for this, but I feel bad for Kobe. He went from "100% healthy!" with Dwight / Pau / Nash to "100% healthy?" with Boozer / Hill / Lin / broken Nash.

He had two runs with two different teams, each run producing multiple championships. He's had plenty of luck. Tough to feel bad that the third time didn't work.

I feel bad for him also, but if he was truly serious about winning one more, he wouldn't have taken that contract.

You're not going to see 41 points on 18 shots many times this season. Klay is the man.

Sure, but it wasn't like he was riding the coattails of the best players on those teams. If it was a situation similar to a Robert Horry, then "too bad, but oh well for you."

But for someone as hard working as Kobe? Gotta wreak havoc on your will to play.

i really hope we can lock down one of two (klay or curry) when we play them

and i also think there's a 80% chance Kobe retires after next season

Why is Harrison Barnes so low on the depth chart?

Maybe he shouldn't have re-upped for max money and sacrificed money he didn't even need (he could honestly have played for vet min., because at this point its all about legacy and titles; could have easily made it all back with endorsement money) so that he could fellate his ego and remain being the highest paid player at his club. Bet he couldn't even stand not being the leading points man every night.

Kobe is egotistical to the point where I think he has some legitimate psychological disorders.

tl;dr: I don't feel sorry for that chump. Happy knowing he'll never get his sixth ring and he'll forever remain in Jordan's shadow and maybe even LeBron's shadow after Bron's career is done and over with.

Yes, I am a massive hater, but come on Kobe is a douchenozzle.

This GSW-LAL game is another example of the power of 3 pointers.

Lakers actually shot 47% from the field, above 50% much of the time, and got to the line 25 times. They had too many TOs but also got a ton of offensive boards. Still, they ended up with barely 1.00 point per possession, a bad offensive number because they only hit 3 3-pointer out of 13 tries.

Meanwhile, the GSW's team blew them out with a 11 for 23 3-point shooting night.

This picture made me LOL! Kobe will go down as an all time great, but this Laker team he is on now is a dumpster fire. Could go down as the worse Laker team in franchise history. It will be difficult for them to get to 20 wins this season out West.

Klay had 41 pts on 17 shots; Curry and Klay combine for 72 which was more than what Memphis had as a team
