I've never seen a player purposely bring up how crappy his previous city was the way Parsons has done. Lin has kept it low key, focused on the team. So have Asik. Dwight said little about LA and mostly only when interviewed.

Parsons obsession with taking cracks at Houston is... weird.

His fragile ego took a huge hit when Morey smartly refused to match Cuban's ridiculous max contract.

So now Parsons is left with playing the role of jilted lover. Just means that Houston dominates his thoughts and emotions.

It's obvious Parsons is butt hurt the Rox didn't see him as a star. The constant shots at Houston prove he hasn't moved on. Him leaving was a blessing in disguise because Ariza is the better player imo.

Plus would he have been disgruntled over time if his role didn't grow, or would he have had a falling out with McHale eventually?

He was a good teammate while he was here. But this transition has really brought out the bad in him.

Parsons has always been a sweet talker;someone who says stuff that people want to hear. It makes him look good wherever he goes. Right now, bad talking the Rockets and favoring Dallas over Houston is a 'thing' right now, so of course that is they way he will talk.

It just shows that Parsons is so concerned with his mainstream popularity that he can't have his own true opinion on things. His opinion varies with the popular opinion. Shows that he doesn't have any values.

I was taught to feel sorry for those types of people. Those people can't think for themselves. And while he looks good at first, the more he continues to flop his opinion and such, the more respect he will lose in the end.

I truly believe this whole ordeal has revealed Parsons' true character. Parsons would have turned into a bad teammate if his role didn't grow and the fact of the matter is his ceiling is a glorified role player, that's it. Ariza is a much better player because he understand and knows his role and he does it well. Parsons is an insecure wanna be.

That was incredibly lame. Were they trying to sign an 8-year-old child?

The Mavericks are delusional making this silly video like they somehow have a Big 3 which needs a cool moniker such as Run DMC. When in in fact what they have amounts to say a "medium-sized" 3 at best. Dirk is on his last leg, Ellis is a shoot-first PG, and Chandler can't guard his own shadow on defense. They pose no threat to the contenders in they West and perhaps that is why they resort to such embarassing stuff to gain attention.

Hilarious video. I like that they made it 80s campy and didn't try to just make it a "look at our stars rapping" video.

Parsons didn't write that "Left Houston So Easily" line - it was written by someone in their marketing group. All the same, F Parsons and F Dallas.

Just continuing in the proud tradition of Dallas' most important rapper:
