Try destinylfg.net. I needed a group for the weekly heroic and I got messagea within 30 seconds of adding trying it.
I added everyone that posted their psn name. If you guys ever see me on, I'm always willing to do a strike or help out. I think the majority of you guys already added me. Finally found a legendary armor! From a blue engram...heh. I think out of the 35 legendary engrams I've had, only the first one gave me a legendary item (my weapon). I'm finally level 2 on vanguard and crux, so I have some legendary gear I purchased from them. Why is the crux marks capped out at 200? I was maxed out before I even hit level 2...
I reached level 20 (Hunter) last night. I tried some farming yesterday, got a few pieces of rare (blue) items, but nothing legendary or exotic so far. I'm going to add some of you guys and hopefully we can do some raids when I level up some more.
So, I got my first legendary drop the other night (I have a couple bought from the crucible vendor) and it was a chest plate for a titan (I'm a hunter), so that was cool. With that said...I tried the loot cave exploit last night (which is insanity by the way), and managed to get a legendary engram which turned out to be lord high fixer (legendary hand cannon that you get from the crucible). That almost made up for that. Now I just need to do 21 more strikes for my Exotic bounty...arrrr.
I'll be back on this weekend playing. Trying to break in FIFA 15. I finally got a legendary fusion rifle the other day and want to try out the farm cave for myself. I think I have 15 more strikes to go for my exotic weapon. Hopefully can get some more strange coins to buy some exotic armor.
It is nuts. NUTZ! I got 10 rares while doing other quests in the area, and a legendary engram, in less than an hour. Hell, at least 10-15 minutes of that I was just standing there AFK while other people killed things. It's lovely. While you could argue it's exploitative (cus it is), the loot drops in the game are broken imo. You really have to cheese the system where you can, or you're going to end up getting nothing.
Haha, I saw that coming. It was too easy. They need to fix the loot drops though if they're going to nerf stuff like that.

I need to vent...**** Xur...**** **** ****ity **** Xur. Or at minimum, **** whomever at Bungie is in charge of his loot for the week. The Armamentarium...was here last week. Hell 2 of us got it from the random chest engram last week. Crest of Alpha Lupi, while looking cool is not as useful as an extra golden gun shot from my cancer helmet. I don't have a Warlock, so that doesn't help. Suros? Again? You mean the same one you just nerfed and you said you're going to nerf again? Yeah, no thanks. In other words, I now have a legendary sparrow. Wooooooooptydoo.
Happy Xursday; for those that missed Icebreaker (or if you need an Arc sniper, or if you just collect exotics) Xur has Patience and Time today. For the uninitiated Patience and Time is an exotic sniper rifle that has a couple very useful special abilities. a) Radar stays up when you're scoped in b) You automatically cloak when zoomed in (unfortunately, it doesn't last forever and there is a delay before it kicks in -- it's still awesome). It also has great stability for secondary shots, the scope is also quite nice. He also has a hidden item today that can only be bought when you have the pumpkinhead active. He will then sell you a vial (something of shadows) which will then change your respawn animation (bats fly out) for 24 hours. It costs 1 strange coin and totally isn't worth it.
