Kobe will outproduce Parsons this season.
Shame nobody wants to play with Kobe though....

The kneejerk is crazy. I think Chandler is who we thought he was, he had games like this last season too, but he might also deliver great games once in a while because he is streaky by nature.

He never will magically become a 15 million dollar player, nor will he suddenly become a scrub. He is what he is, a young, smart role player that have streaky threes, good passing and great at running on fast breaks, but his handles and lack of quickness will also deter him from becoming a consistent basketball player that can create his own shot.

C'mon man! Our hated enemies (Dallas) run by the dark lord (Cuban) attempted to screw us by making us pay mass tax (Bosh + Parsons = pain). But we screwed them, so they tried to talk it up and make out they always saw a max player in Parsons.

I think it is fair to laugh at him (and them) for a particularly feeble first showing isn't it????

I don't think anybody expects Parsons to suddenly turn into a scrub or anything, it's just that expectations change when you go from being paid 900K to 15 million.

Exactly. If Parsons is going to continue to be streaky after his 1500% raise, then he should at least do right and donate his salary to Dirk when has a crappy game.

In other words, when you were paid like Jeremy Lin, then get paid more than Jeremy Lin and play worse than Jeremy Lin.

hey it's not Parsons' fault he's overpaid, maybe Mark Cuban should be the one slipping cash under the table to Dirk.

"I told (Chandler Parsons) every dinner on the road is on him because it's my money anyway" - Dirk

Lin played horrible yesterday but Parsons played even worse..

Looks like Asik is the only guy that is worth his contract

Contract is for the season(s), not for one game.

Agreed. He's a good NBA player. Cuban's fault for paying him more than that but that's not on Parsons. Good players will pop off, and sometimes have clunkers. I don't expect this to be the average for CP. I think Carlisle will eventually get more out of Parsons than his time here because he's a much better coach. But I think we've already seen pretty close to the ceiling of Parson's skill set.

Less glamour, lesser looks but more game.... have fun in Dallas

Parsons stats were inflated by the run and gun and no D style Houston played. He's gonna look pretty bad this season with that giant contract unless he improves his shooting.

Dirk's claim that his dinner is always on Chandler Parsons is just one example what the pressure Parsons has to break through. "That’s the kind of ribbing that Parsons takes on a regular basis from Nowitzki."

“He’s just hilarious,” Parsons said. “Like, I never would expect him to be how he is. His personality is very sarcastic. It’s like his personality is kind of to hate on you in a way, but you know it’s out of love.”

Should I hope what you said is true, Mr Parsons?
