I'm confused, are you saying that moderators don't need to be impartial or display professionalism? Or are you saying that Clutchfans is a poor place for constructive discussion?
You came to a team's fan site for IMPARTIALITY? Really? It's called ClutchFans. It's for Houston Rockets fans. We're pretty partial to the Rockets here. Surprised you're surprised.
That video was absolutely necessary. Lord was he terrible last night and very critical to the Rockets win.
Lin plays poorly as a Rocket. Lin fans scapegoat everything under the sun. You revolt. Understandable. Lin gets traded to the Lakers. Line plays poorly at the season opener. Nobody gets scapegoated. You still revolt. No need.
It's three minutes long. Including replays. He was on the court for 29 minutes. These were selected examples of the type of bonehead Lin does; it skipped the other stuff that explains why he plays in the NBA. It's greatest hits. My objection is that it includes things in the bonehead selection that weren't; they just look bonehead or sound bonehead when the announcers aren't on mute like I keep them.
If Lin keeps stinking it up like last night, then this thread may actually die pretty fast. Tinman and King1 will run out of people to argue with. Now if Lin decides to put up a big game every 3 or 4 games then yea. It'll go to 200 pages by the end of Nov.
He was underwhelming. But critical to the Rockets win? Are you nuts? Plug in any PG into that team playing that system and we'd have won, probably by a lot. They kinda suck, and the system is DESIGNED to create long twos. It's idiotic.
I don't even know what you mean by arguing. I'm just telling the truth. I'm not a genius predicting that Jeremy Lin would have a bunch of turnovers, that's how he's played his entire career. Nobody hates Lin, I was so happy he helped the Rockets out last night.
The game would have been closer with a healthy Steve Nash. The Rockets won by a lot but it was ugly. If it was the Spurs, they would have blown them out by 40 points.
Of course the game would have been closer with a healthy Nash. Or Chris Paul. But our win wasn't because of Lin. He may participate in the terrible, but he isn't the reason for it.
what do you mean revolt? I'm not revolting against Clutch. I'm saying his video is the truth. are you asking me if I enjoy destroying the LOFs... yes.. it's like back in the when you have all the Constructicons and you form Devastator and you have him smash up whatever small toys you have in front of him.. or when you play MS PACMAN and you got the power pellet and those LOFs running away like they are scared
Jeremy Lin was a -17, the second worse only to Julius Randle a rookie who broke his leg. http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=400578295 He was NEGATIVELY impacting his team and his 4 turnovers helped the Rockets score points
I seen a little or maybe alot of nervousness on his part. When he is nervous or anxious he has shaky handles in which he just looses the ball consistently. And why can't he learn to shoot a floater, because guys like Howard, Jordan, or Lopez, Duncan are not going to give you a easy layup. Thats pg 101. He needs to sit down and watch how Tony Parker does it. Anyways they play the Suns tonight, maybe he'll play better.
Yup, he was a net negative in the game. I'd say Price was even worse though, so what are they going to do? They are a bad, bad team.
