I know he will have more good games compared to what he did tonight, but Dallas is going to realize quick that they aren't making Parsons into more than what he showed with us.

Good all around game, good spot up shooting and sub par defense. All this talk about the "freedom" that he will have and the ability to do more by going to Dallas is just crazy.

Honestly I had no problem with Parsons leaving, I did have a problem with the way he left. Pictures with Cuban before it was even set in stone, all the things he said after he signed with the Mavs. It was like we dumped him & he rebounds with an ugly girlfriend he won't stfu about because he wants to make us jealous. & I swear that guy has the biggest mouth I've seen since T-Mac retired.

I don't hate CP, & I'm sure I'll forgive him eventually but the more subliminal shots he takes (which there will be more), the more it'll be harder for anyone to forget how he went out.

The fact that Parsons is the higest paid player on the Mavs is an absolute joke. He's going to be good for them, but not 14 million a year good.

Mark Cuban got so angry he ended up owning himself.

Watching Parsons clank one off the front of the rim for old times sakes (along with the rockets smashing the lakers) really made my night.

I'm sure that's not the season debut Parsons wanted... Oh well.

I thought CP would have a lot more opportunities in Dallas as far as offense. it doesn't look like it. i forgot how many shots ellis takes a game and dirk will take his share of shots.

Yup! If Leonard would have played, Parsons would have probably gone completely scoreless.

Parsons was a pretty big part of the offense here. He averaged 13.3 shots per game last season and 16.6 ppg. Only Dirk and Ellis averaged over 10 shot attempts per game for the Mavs last year, at 15.9 and 15.6 respectively. I suspect Parson's number will end up being about the same as they were for the Rockets in the long run. He is going to have some really good games, but expecting him to be a consistent all star level player for a team seems highly unlikely.

CP25 had no business taking that shot. One extra pass and we'd be seeing the spurs start their season with a loss. He is 2/9 and thinks he has a chance to get out of that slump when the game is on the line. Comical. I thought the super elite coaching of Dallas would have rid him of those tendancies.

Parsons seem to mostly stand around on the 3 point line and run around a little. Excellent !
No wonder he wasn't in the game during most of the critical forth quarter.

Carlisle will have a meltdown on his crappy defensive numbers but he is what he is.

hey Cuban I got a bridge you might be interested in !

As long as Ellis is controlling the ball, don't look for Parsons to get the same amount of shots he got here.

Monta Ellis LOVES to shoot, and shoot, and shoot.

Without any playmakers such as Harden creating shots for Chandler he's going to have a difficult time since he can't create his own offense. Also the breakneak pace that the Rockets played at also helped Chandler score in transition and easy buckets.

Basically Chandler's game fit the Rockets style really well.

It could've been better if Asik wasn't as effective and the Pelicans lost
