It wasn't a test, that's for sure, but when he covered Johnson/Kobe they didn't make their shots.

Heat/Spurs will be a better test.

Charles Barkley is pathetic...seriously...pathetic. Didnt Yao make you kiss an a$$ on national tv...keep trashing Houston with every chance you get. Please...And seriously the first person I would like Dwight to show his ring too would be Charles Barkley... grade A Houston hater...

Not surprised Chuck said this. If ya remember the way Barkley would rebound, he was the king of swinging his elbows. That was all Barkley defending himself. Lol

We really missed Parsons and Lin tonight...

That 20% shooting would have gone a long way.

We already knew Asik was the best player we lost.

Nah I guess we are still being 4th or 5th seed right now but it is going to be harder on us and on the younger guys.

We need more players like Terry and younger, players come in and do their job and monitor the younger players

Dallas also lost two starters...Calderon and Carter...but for them they are replaced.

When it comes to the Rockets, we "Lost" and apparently didn't replace any of the starters we lost.

We ONE starter. Jlin is not a starting tier player, he's the starting PG on what could be the worst team in the NBA. He didn't start in Houston.

Parsons has been replaced. Ariza will fill his role just fine. Ariza started winning a championship. We didn't lose a starter, we gained (IMO) a better one.

Asik wasn't a starter and was never going to stay in Houston. He's the one starter we lost though because he's one of the best centers in the NBA still.

A win! an easy win on the road first up. season openers can produce funny results so hurdle cleared. gotta back it up tomorrow. I like Kpap's game, love Ariza as a fit, and dwight will be fresh for tomorrow after barely playing tonight. on to the next one, lets use this soft schedule to get ahead of the pack.

    go rockets

If we're blowing out the worst team with ease IN LA, that should mean that we are on track. If we take it one game at a time. We will take it all the way.

How do these guys keep a job. They say some of the dumbest stuff in the world. Just imagine what they would have said if we would've lost..

Things that worry me. Who is D-mo? Will he play consistent.

Papa K? How long before he gets it.

Black? Young. Can't expect too much.

Canaan n Daniels? Reasoning behind them not playing much, they clearly have more offensive skills than the three above listed.

I have a feeling it will be our defense that carries us through some of games this season.

    Sarcasm mayne.

I get tired of hearing about all the bonafide starting players we lost.

Parsons is a good player, but Ariza also is a good player. That's not "Losing" a starter. So did the Mavs lose a starter at SF then? They lost both Marion and Carter and gained Parsons. Did they lose a starter? They Lost Calderon and replaced him with Nelson and Harris...did they lose a starter? Why doesn't anyone talk about them losing starters?

Jlin isn't a starter. How many teams would he start on? Then they turn around and trash the Lakers for having no talent...yet this is a player we are going to miss and can't replace this season? Not saying Lin is a bad player, but he can be replaced.

We lost Asik, but we knew that was inevitable any ways. That's a legit concern and he's a legit starting caliber player that we also did not replace.

    26 pts. 17 rebounds 3 steals 9 blocks

and Asik had 14 points 17 rebuonds. 5 blocks

    Wow. That is legit. WTF
