I want everybody to compare this game the way you are nitpicking this to our offense. Let me know what you see.

Parsons flopped then got mad at the ref for not calling it. Superstar mentality right there.

Remember that time Parsons wanted a bigger role than the one he had on the Rockets so he signed with the Mavericks and now has even less of a role?

Man if this game is any indication of how the rest of the season will go...

I wonder if Parsons will regret his decision to go to Dallas. He was valued and loved by the staff and fans here in houston. Ironically he left because he thought he wasn't valued enough. He got payed, but he is just sitting there in the corner.

Remember when Parsons would sit out games we just knew the Rockets would lose. It just doesn't look like he is an integral part of the Dallas team... so far.

Carlisle is a good coach. He'll figure it out. He has to. You can't pay a man 15 million a year to do this. They can just run Richard Jefferson out there to do what Parsons is doing right now with no drop-off for a fraction of the cost. This can't be what they had in mind or this would be a ridiculous allocation of funds.

    As Aaron Rodgers said, R-E-L-A-X.

Game one; one game. Doesn't mean he sucks, doesn't mean he's not worth his contract. Parsons and Dallas will be fine.

A lot Parsons' points were from Harden assists. who is going to pass to Parsons? Dirk? Monta?

The thing is he talked all summer about wanting a bigger role and being ready to take that next step as a player. It isn't his fault his teammates have other plans this game lol. I actually see his poor performance tonight as more of a product of being in a diminished role tonight. He seemed to be more involved in the games I saw during preseason. I don't expect a repeat of tonight to happen again. He got "iso'd" tonight for some reason.

He's not going to be worth that contract and he doesn't have to suck for that to be true.

Harden came in and scored 43 points in his first game with his new team. Now that's a MAX player.

Well, you can put me down on saying he's not worth the contract right now then. I just don't think he's as good as Rocket fans believed he was or he was. That's just how I felt about him. When he came into the league his defense was overrated and his ballhandling abilities have always been overrated. He's a streaky shooter as well, not a knockdown one.

Dallas will probably benefit from having him around, no doubt. But that's because in general he's a good team player that plays with a lot of heart and hustle and guts. He's lengthy and athletic as well.
