Nothing to see here. All the insiders and so called insiders (pretenders) have gone quiet. They had their moment of fun stroking their egos or ewenis with set deadlines all the while belittling and condemning those knowledgeable who questioned their sources or their intentions. Now they've all gone quiet. It's only the delusional folks who feed off such nonsense. Many of us see right through all this crap they have been feeding us. Not even Morey knows who is going to sign or when and yet you want us to believe that these "insiders" know exactly what Morey is going to do and exactly when. Give me a break.... But remember, trade talks are fluid. If not this deadline, then the December deadline, if not Feb deadline, if not next summer, if not summer of 2016. We are getting our PG some way or the other...

At the same time, this thread asked for Cyberx. Nobody asked self proclaimed insiders (pretenders) like Drew, Roe4Christ, Plowman, Shaun, _holic to post their "inside" info. They better be able to take the heat after constantly disparaging and denouncing those who questioned them and their deadlines.

Precisely. I have no problem with information not being true if they leave open the possibility of it not being true. It was the fact that they consistently and unequivocally said that we WILL make a trade and we WILL have our point guard, and actually were surprised people actually questioned them.

Doc said something similar about Morey being too greedy and then eventually left with nothing. This offseason showed exactly what can happen if not careful.
About as shocked as I was last year when we didn't trade Jones and D-Mo last October (because they apparently "weren't in the rotation") to make a run at a potential un-tapped superstar in Derrick Williams.

Sure, I don't doubt the chance to get Rondo, as long as Ainge's demands are reasonable. Whatever "reasonable" is. Wouldn't want to give away too much if you're talking about Rondo, given that he could walk in a year and we'd be back at the "pleeeeeeeease, PLEEEEEEASE take our money!" stage with free agents next July.
