    no wrong.

the difference between dorsey and adrian is thier managers. one was able to get a 2nd year guareenteed which made sure he was going to make the team and one couldn't.

you dont get what you deserve, you get what you can bargain and leverage

Very bummed about Dorsey making the team. Not only is he too short to do anything offensively inside, but he commits moving screens like every other time down the floor.

Sure he made a nice block but the guy is not a positive for us out there on the floor. God I hope Howard/Black don't get injured.

Other then contract differences, I agree with the decision to keep Dorsey and waive Adrien. Dorsey is the better Center and defender. Black and Adrien do a lot of the same things, so why keep both?

Exactly. Plus he's a center backup. Adrien is not.

I don't think that's the only perverse incentive at play here. Morey handed out a guarantee to bring this guy back from Europe, after wasting a second round pick on him a few years ago. If he ditches Dorsey a second time, he'll admit being wrong about him twice. You know the famous saying, fool me once, shame on... shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again.

Dorsey might be short but dude is a legit 280. The guy is hard to move. Asik is 250-260. Not saying Dorsey is better then Asik, but I'm saying don't let Dorsey's height and mediocre preseason fool you.

What did Adrien really deserve, though? He's been less than a journeyman for years. He put himself in a position where a team would be willing to cut him to save $1 million in future cap space.

no player is worth any amount in reality, it comes down to your leveraging. on this end dorsey had a better hand using staying in barca as his ticket to a 2nd year contract

Dorsey's leverage was that he can play center.

It comes down to leveraging for similar players. If Adrien was a better player, he wouldn't be in this situation.

Which would mean December at the earliest, given that Dorsey was signed as a free agent this summer?

If it's about the contract wouldn't Adrien's 1 yr deal or Powell's fully unguaranteed be more attractive?
