Is anyone else annoyed when press releases like those post irrelevant stats? Why should I care that Ish averaged 1.3 rebounds? How many assists did he average?

Unless they're inferring that we were playing him wrong and he's actually a power forward...

I'm not at all surprised by the news but I'm a little sad about Adrien. I'd have much preferred to have Dorsey jettisoned. I think Jeff Adrien is not just an NBA player but a borderline rotation player, and I really hope he lands somewhere that can use him properly.

Glad they cut Smith though, the way McHale arranged his lineups in the preseason made me legitimately worried I'd have to spend 10 hours of my life this year watching him pound the ball. Canaan is a weak backup 1 but it's preferable if you ask me.

I don't mind keeping Black, although he's not going to be a rotation player until he cuts his fouls in half.

If Jeff Adrien was a 5, he'd still be with the team. "Euro Dwight" Dorsey is just awful, but his contract along with the fact that he plays the 5 (sort of) is what kept him on the team. There's too much of a glut at the 4 to keep a guy like Adrien around.

LOL at all the 'meh' comments about Canaan. If he isn't traded this season he's gonna blow up in the backup 1 role and we'll be having discussions on the board with a substantial number of posters wanting to start him and either bench or trade Beverley.

Morey has went full r****d. The Dorsey signing was horrible and now because of that we have to cut Adrien

Hate to say it......but I agree with you. Canaan has flashed at times of him being a poor mans Harden but in a PGs body.

Absolutely why this decision was made for Dorsey over Adrien.

Once Tarik Black flashed enough potential for the team to want to keep him, the writing was officially on the wall.

So you wanted to cut/trade Jones or DMO to make room for Adrien? You guys are crazy.

it's absolutely true. This will be another chapter in the Brooks vs Lowry neverending backup PG debate.

IM a bit confused here, why pick up clark off waiver then release him after couple of days. I understand we would retain his rights for the vipers but im assuming some other teams out there would pick him up.

What does any of that have to do with people overreacting to cutting Adrien? Are you a Lakers fan or something?

Well he's not a good player, so I doubt anyone wants him on their roster.

It just wouldnt be right if there isn't a Clutchfans PG controversy. Rafer or Brooks, Brooks or Lowry, Lowry or Brooks, Lin or Bev, Bev or Lin...

All GMs like to give their failed picks second chances. Except Morey made the mistake of signing his to a 2 year guaranteed deal.
