Indianapolis needs to learn to protect Andrew Luck better, partly his fault too holding the ball longer to extend plays. If he doesn't have that physique, he's on the IR already.
He's also producing on those carries. averaging 4.9 yards per game. He has been the best RB so far without question.
Luck definitely has some Roethlisberger in him. Today he felt like every play needed to count because Big Ben was on another level. Almost would have been better if the Steelers hadn't turned the ball over so it would have been a blowout. But Pagano may have continued the pass-happy attack regardless. Colts threw 45 passes, ran only 10 times and punted 3 times. I wonder how many hits Luck took while in the pocket.
An argument can be made that Foster has been playing the best. Look what he has to work with compared to Murray. Opposing defenses can practically game plan exclusively on stopping Foster... Defenses can't do that with Murray because of Romo and Dez. Plus Murray has a great offensive line as well.
They also have by far the best pass blocking line in the league. Murray would still be the lead rusher in the league even if he had 0 yards after contact. Murray is a good RB, but without that O line beasting the way they have been, he'd be viewed as a tier above middle of the pack.
How much better...??? Lol... Foster consistently facing 8 in the box makes up for that. I'm just saying an argument can be made for Foster as well.
rodgers has more than 2 minutes. if he is elite, he will make ingram fumble the ball, coach sean to call some terrible play and get a pick six out of brees. you can do it.
I understand what happened, I was just saying your response was silly. Would our loss hurt less if PIT barely won against Indy or perhaps even lost against them?... No. If anything, our loss hurts MUCH LESS since PIT beat Indy. We are now only 1 game behind the Colts.
I'm looking for more up to date numbers, but as of 2 weeks ago, he had 474 yards before contact, I don't know how many he got last week, but even if we assume 0 yards before contact last week, he'd still be currently 5th in the league based on those yards alone. Add in only 30 more and that knocks him up to 4th and that's with everyone else playing 2 more games than him. It may not be the case anymore, but as of 2 weeks ago, he had more yards before contact than any other RB had total yards and it's probably still really close even with Foster and Le'Veon Bell beasting. The Cowboys' O line is ridiculously good.
I couldn't find more up to date numbers, but he was averaging 79 yards before contact per game through 6 games, so if we stick with that number, he'd have 632 yards before contact after this week putting him 17 yards more than Arian Foster, the RB with the 2nd most yards. Worst case scenario, he falls to 3rd overall using just his yards before contact.
Maybe you are talking about the other inexperienced wrs because Antonio Brown has been a top 5 WR the last 2 years. Strictly off this year you could say he is a top 3 WR right noww
