the best outcome for us would be for the Eagles to win today have them come in next week sluggish and expecting an easy victory so we can catch them off guard

I think this win cements Fitz for the duration ... I remember reading something about Mallet's contract having a clause on the # of snaps he takes ? If OB doesn't see Mallet as part of the future then no reason to allow him to secure a bonus by playing him in garbage time . I doubt we ever see Mallet take a snap unless an injury forces it .

We did shoot ourselves in the foot. But do you remember only getting 2 INTs in our losses, while snatching 5 in our wins? Pretty sure better QB-play had something to do with that.
Yeah, far preferable to moan about Fitzpatrick than appreciate a over-whelming win. I'm not blind. I saw those lame duck throws that he got away with, but I also saw some sweet plays, adjustments and sharp plays. Believe me I don't prefer a Fitz lead team that wants to go into the playoffs, but I can damn well appreciate a win- is -a -win unlike many here (sad).
winning is nice. but let's not act like fitzpatrick had much to do with it. to be honest, i would love for the texans to string together 8 more wins and make the playoffs. it's not happening though because fitzpatrick (and probably mallett) are not nfl starters.
