    maybe its just because I've been mainly watching the Texans this year but football is a pretty boring sport, we have like 50 commercial breaks per quarter and a lot of standing around... yet i still wait all week for this

    In xsf's defense it's tough being a rookie guard. I think it was Seth Payne that said its tougher being a guard than tackle because you have to understand your assignment and the assignments of the center and the tackle.

    On the play where he gave up the sack he started to block Myers' guy and let his linebacker get the sack. It's not something that isn't correctable. Clearly the raw talent is there. Chance Warmack looked really bad last year but is much improved this year.

    Much more likely to be patient with rookie O-lineman... especially guards.

    Still not sure if he's "earning" his increased playing time each game, or if its just because Ben Jones is sucking that badly. Either way, XSF has the ability to improve.
